Update: I've been using this product for almost 6 weeks and I am so blessed to be able to have this product! The crusts on my scalp and flakes have continued to reduce and are barely there at all! This has given me a way to treat my dandruff daily with a moisturizing curl-safe product while also cutting down on shampoo. So pleased! Also the method of storing upside down and removing the cap to dispense has been so easy and works just fine. Original review: I have a severe form of dandruff called seborrheic dermatitis. Due to having very dry, curly hair I quit shampooing my hair regularly and use this conditioner instead. It's helping my seborrheic dermatitis a lot, it took a while but after two and a half weeks my flakes are hugely reduced and the crust on my scalp is almost totally gone. The bottle is slightly squeezable however the product is so thick it's hard to squeeze out as others have said. I store it upside down which is easy to do due to the shape of the bottle, and when I use it I simply unscrew the cap and squeeze some into my hand. It's very easy to do this way and I don't have to cut the bottle open or anything, which I was afraid I'd have to do. It's hard to find dandruff conditioners, especially ones that comply with Curly Girl Method like this one does, so I'm very grateful for it and have always thought derma e makes great products. I love the shampoo and conditioner, however, the bottles are not user friendly. the bottles are so hard and you have to squeeze so hard to get the product out and the conditioner barley moves, I had to remove the cap to get the conditioner and still have a hard time!! I may have to put it in a different container . Please tell the seller to make softer bottles that are squeezable . With that being said I will purchase again❤️ ... show more

The conditioner is nice, leaves my scalp feeling very cool, helps with itchy scalp. Big problem with the bottle, the plastic is so hard that it's very difficult to get the conditioner out. Conditioner is very thick, so it does not run out. Can't squeeze bottle because plastic is too hard. Not sure how I am going to be able to use all the conditioner. Thinking about cutting the bottle to decant the conditioner. May not buy again because of the bottle. ... show more

(Edit) I was unable to return this item, so contacted Amazon and said I would dispute the charge. They refunded me. If anyone is reading this who has already purchased, try that route. It makes me nuts to think the seller is selling these knowing you can't actually use them. Based on others' reviews, it seems like this conditioner used to come in a soft plastic tube. Not any more. It comes in a very hard plastic - so hard you can't squeeze anything out of the bottle. I have to use a chopstick(!) to get a little bit out of the container to use - I do have to say the product itself is very nice. It's thick and doesn't irritate my skin. But there's no use since I can't get it out of the plastic bottle. It's much harder than mayonnaise/ketchup plastic bottles. The conditioner is thick so it won't come out even if you remove the camp and shake it hard. What a waste of a quality product...put in a container that is totally unusable. ... show more

It does not come out of the bottle. The bottle is very dense plastic which is very hard to squeeze. The product is so thick that even if you can squeeze the bottle, the product just sticks. My husband and I tried to put some into a smaller bottle with a funnel, and that didn't even work. I ended up putting some water in the top and am still waiting for it to thin out the product. This stuff is awesome! It stopped the annoying itch that I had not to mention that soothing peppermint feel which makes your scalp feel so much better. 5 star but the packaging exec must be the owner's son/daughter. Product works great but worst bottle I've ever used. Really struggle to get it out of plastic bottle. Must be pvc pipe converted to bottle packing.
