My son saved up and bought this for himself. The instructions and app are a little confusing but we are getting it figured out. Three most confusing part is doing the scrolling text. We like that you can take a picture of anything and display it on the mask. We took a picture of his face so he was wearing a mask of his own face, he thought it was hilarious. It has a big selection of masks already loaded and easy to scroll through. It fits him great and he wore it for Halloween. He likes the gesture control but wishes he could turn it on and off without having to ask me to do it on the app (doesn't have his own phone yet). Overall good performance and very fun.

The Depointer Life LED Mask was an amazing purchase, especially for Halloween! My son absolutely adores it and uses it every single day. The mask is incredibly fun and versatile, with tons of customizable display options that have provided hours of entertainment. The fact that it’s Bluetooth-compatible and app-controlled makes it super easy to use and adds to the excitement of changing the designs on the fly. It’s also rechargeable, so there’s no need to worry about replacing batteries. This mask is not only a hit for Halloween but has become a favorite toy in our home. Rechargeable, bright, very good quality. Lots of built in patterns to choose from, plus an app that enable you to upload an image or photo and zoom/crop, plus music activated patterns and a neat customer text editing tool. The eye holes are larger than to previous version, and help to avoid bumping into stuff, but they do interfere a bit with the patterns. No instructions for the app, but pretty easy to figure out. Better quality than some of the others I've seen - worth the extra cost.

Doesn’t fog up. Fits comfortably. Forward vision is good, though you have blind spots, so be careful where you walk. The display is bright, though you have to see it from a distance to get the full effect of the images, since holding it at arms length looks blurry. It took a bit of fiddling to figure out how to connect the mask and use the app, but once we did we were having a blast. Note: swipe left or right on the app home page to rotate between features such as gallery or DIY. It’s day one, so I can’t speak to longevity or wear and tear, but me, and my son have spent hours entertaining ourselves with the DIY features such as uploading pictures of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, or Sonic and Mario. It’s a little expensive, but I’m confident my 5th grader will use this mask next halloween and beyond, so the price will offset the need to purchase other Halloween costumes. Now, my husband has to have one too, so I just ordered a second mask for him.

This was made sooooo well!!! My son loved it and so did everyone else when we was outside with this mask on. It’s made so well, and gave us so many options! It even let him take a pic of someone face and add it to his mask!!! Well worth the money!

I got this last minute to go with my purge theme outfit. I was very excited to add my own pictures, have the app feature and finally have fun for once. Well this mask was more frustrating than I imagined and I ended up not using it. I followed the directions and charged it first using the provided cord. That worked perfectly! I then linked it to the app and figured put a few of the customization options. I was not too impressed with uploading your own photo, the quality is not the best and your screen size is limited. However, the features provided all work! My issue began once we finally went out. My daughter kept saying my mask says ok (👌🏿 the hand signal displays in green). I powered it off and back on, connected it to my phone and continued my night. I asked her again what my mask was showing a few seconds later, she said nothing. Indeed it was black. I tried reconnecting the app, the mask did nothing. I powered it off and back on, it went black again. I placed it on the charger in the car and the sensor was green. I powered it off and back on, turned off the geasture option in the app it worked and then went black again. I ended up taking it off and just leaving it behind. It's a great concept and my kids love it. But it has both pros and cons. BE CAREFUL as it can be a little hard to see out of especially at night time. For the price, I was personally expecting a bit more from a quality perspective. Its very sturdy and nice looking and the delivery was fast. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it as intended and think it would be great if some of the issues were worked out.

--Dropping review to 1 star-- Read update The mask itself, pretty good quality. It's sturdy, and isn't terribly uncomfortable to wear long term. However app support is terrible. Buggy, unresponsive, and sometimes will lose connection. I thought the mask itself was done responsive, but it's through the app. Once you turn off your screen, the app stops working, which then causes the mask to stop working. Which is a huge shame since the sound reactive was the key component that wanted me to get the mask. UPDATE-- after a few moments, the mask stops displaying the animation of the sound reaction. At any random moment, you're mask will display nothing but a 2x2 square in the middle of the mask. A feature in itself about the mask, does not even work. Upon doing some research it seems the app isn't really supported anymore, and thus no updates or intents to fix any of the issues. Sadly with any masks that use the "Shining mask " app, while the mask itself is neat, none will work as they're advertised. at this point, it's more or less best to avoid any masks that use the app, as you're going run into issues, and there's nothing that will be done about it.
