UPDATE: after many months of comfortable, flawless use I lost one of the thumb screws that attaches the visor, so I reached out to the seller beheadwearllc and they promptly sent me 4 replacement screw at no cost! Makes me wish I could give 6 stars... I looked long and hard for a full face helmet that was very light and wouldn't break the bank since I was transitioning from a nice Smith helmet for more aggressive riding. I settled in this one that weighed in at about 650 grams without the visor. I have never worn a full face before but once I used this helmet I haven't used anything else. I also have never worn goggles, only glasses when riding but with this helmet the goggles work extremely well and I haven't gone back to glasses since I started wearing them. This helmet is fantastic and satisfied all of my requirements including: -MIPS technology since I tend to crash from time to time... -It is very light and I don't notice a difference in weight from my lighter Smith helmet. -It fits great with the included different sized padding since this helmet does not have a cinch head strap. -Yes you can wear Airpod Pros with it provided you control with an Apple Watch and best with foam tips- see below. -It does not interfere at all with outside sounds and you can talk normally to your buddy while riding. -The fit is extremely comfortable and provides a nice sense of completeness to the riding feel. -Works wonderfully with goggles that are designed for it- see below. The goggle provide a better field of vision and most importantly make riding with contact lenses much more enjoyable with no wind to impact vision! Actually the goggles make the helmet even more comfortable since they move together and make a complete fit when adjusting during the ride. The only negative point is that this helmet takes a bit of patience to get on and off which I think is necessary for the fantastic fit when set and once you get it down it is a non-issue. Also once you get it on the area around the ear is hollow and allows for Airpod Pros nicely (this also takes some practice but once you get it down they are worry free the entire ride). First full face helmet I’ve owned. It was a tight fit at first. Wore it around the house to break it in. After a few hrs the chin pad molded better. Takes adjusting too. Specially the part where your cheek bones are kind off push up. Took it to Downieville classic (16 miles) and it was great. Couldn’t feel that it was on. It did get soaking wet with sweat but it was still very breathable.

A comfortable and breathable light weight helmet with removable jaw protection. I a new electric unicycle rider and my motorcycle helmets were either too bulky, heavy, hot, restrictive, or didn’t offer jaw protection for the speeds I ride at. This helmet really surprised me with its light weight and coolness. I’m actually comfortable riding in triple digit Texas summers.

Looks good, feels good and fits good. It is a bit confusing as the description talks about how if the helmet feels too big, you can add more padding which it comes with…. But I don’t see a way to add the extra padding it came with. It came with a duplicate of each padding that is inside the helmet Incase any of them fall out. This is a good value without having to pay extra for a major brand logo on it.

Excellent choice! This helmet is light without compromising on safety, and I love that it came with the thicker pads that created the perfect fit! It’s a little snug with the thicker pads which is exactly how it’s supposed to feel. I’ve worn it on a few rides so far and don’t notice my head getting hot at all.
