The hose is stretchy so I was able to reach my dog on the floor of the shower. Installed easily with plumbers tape (not included) and worked great right from the box with no leaks. I have these in all the showers. It's the best multi-head in the market. Finding a 25gpm unit is even better! Don't over tighten or you'll have leaks! Great for washing pets, especially with the pause button on the wand. The entire head can be aimed and then the wand matches the direction. The end snaps in firmly. No annoying magnets that let go. This spray has a wide, spa-like trajectory for showers, plus you can use the smaller, inner spray as a handheld. It's a little expensive, but works great. Worth the price.

When we remodeled our bathroom 11 years ago we selected an earlier version of this DELTA shower head. However due to hard water damage it needed to be replaced. This newer model has some improvements. First the shower head is now all brushed nickel, the earlier model had a grey back and a brushed nickel face. (The head is plastic so I am just describing the color of the plastic parts). Second the hose is metal and is now shorter and more flexible than the earlier version. Last, it is supposedly easier to clean and avoids water spots which only time will tell. The four star rating instead of five is because DELTA likes to use the terms like brushed nickel and stainless making you think the showerhead is metal and only after reading the material description do you discover they are talking about plastic. ... show more

Overall very nice. Seems everything you don't need a loan for to buy is plastic now. Wish the hose was 6" longer. Our primary use is for washing the dog in the shower and it can not reach under her. Maybe we just need a bigger dog. Plastic at least is basically hand tighten, so easy to install, and it does not leak. Great water pressure as well. Love the button to stop the water so when you are popping it in or taking it out to hand use. There was no mention on the packaging about plumbers take which our current square Kohler (plastic) had so did not use. Ok i lied, there were 2 reasons to change the new shower head on our just built home... Primary was washing the dog, but also the stock one they builders used had really really bad water pressure.. Turns out the installer left a wad of that plumbers tape in the head which was blocking the water :( ... show more

First time changing a shower head and it was easier than I expected. No tools needed. I used some force to twist off the old shower head, cleaned off the old plumbers white tape, and then twisted on the new shower head on. I didn’t even need any new white tape. Turned on the shower and it worked without leaks! I used it once to shower and the flow is good as is. Im not sure why so many reviews say to remove the flow restrictor first. Who knows I may be used to the lower flow bc of my old shower head. I have a suspicion other reviewers are using showerheads that are older and don’t follow the water conservation standard or they’re showers are larger than mine. If your shower head is further away when you shower, low flow may seem inadequate. I would say don’t adjust anything and try using it as is for a few weeks. ... show more
