My husband just installed this and found that the " Maximum 1" nipple", extending out of the wall,(as marked on the package) is untrue. The maximum nipple extending out of the wall is 5/8 inch, otherwise there's a gap and a filler has to be used between the wall and spout. We're going to try using a preformed bead of silicone. The 3/8" gap after installation is too wide to fill with silicone sealer. This faucet also drips continually while showering. I'm not sure that this is normal or whether I just got a faulty spout. Good luck with yours! PS There is no sign of Delta corroborating with Master Plumber. My package shows in fine writing that it was made in Taiwan. ... show more

It looks good, quality is okay (plastic internals), and it works well, but there is no indication of it being a Delta Faucet part. Packaging is labeled “Master Plumber”... not Delta.

Having the rear diverter is so much better I found then the front version. I do all the maintenance for 2 apartment buildings in SF. Also, like the fact that it will work with 1/2" or 3/4"
