My pregnant wife confirms, great back support. Very comfortable chair. Easy to assemble. Though the box is huge and weighs a lot, since it comes disassembled, it was very easy to get it into the house. I just opened the box outside, and carried individual pieces into the house. The base was a bit heavier and bulky and a little wonky to carry alone, but it can be done by a strong person. Packing was excellent, though the exterior of the box had shipping damage, the chair was undamaged. Just make sure to wash your hands AFTER you unpack the box, and BEFORE you take the plastic off the pieces! This is a comfortable chair if you like to sit up straight. No slouching in this chair. Color nice, but easily shows use. Sits good for a small person putting their feet on the floor. Not had luck buying furniture online.

I put this chair together by myself and was 30 weeks pregnant. The instructions were easy to follow and all pieces went together perfectly. The chair is super comfortable to sit in and the gliding/rocking is very smooth. The fabric is almost like a suede so I am worried the dogs will ruin it- maybe not. It's ok. Just ok. It's not horrible, but certainly not as good as the reviews I'd read. It looks nice and seems solid. My huge complaint is that it is not a recliner. I realize this is my fault for not carefully reading the description, but I was searching Amazon for "recliners" and this came up so, stupidly, I assumed this was also a recliner. I am so disappointed, but too tired to send it back. I realize I should have noticed it was not a recliner while assembling the chair, but I'm old and was concentrating on not injuring myself. I didn't wise up until I sat in it and found my sad error. I am soooo sad. But, at least I have a swivel chair to use in semi comfort until I get a real recliner. I'm able to rock my twin boys to sleep at the same time. Its super comfortable, and the grey fabric is so smooth and velvet, perfect for anyone to use. I'm 5'1" and my mother who is 5'7" has no problem fitting and reclining her head in it either. I did A LOT of research and sat in many many chairs at stores, this chair beats them by price and comfort. The only con that I noticed over time is a bit of a creek sound by the wood I think, but its nothing unbearable. My husband assembled it in 30 mins, easy instructions. I paired it with the ottoman, I'm glad I did because it helped to rest my legs in the middle of the night. ... show more
