I didn’t know this unit would be so compact. Compared to my previous purchase of a disc combination lock, this unit is about 20-30% smaller, which isn’t a problem, luckily, for my application. Just be aware, it’s smaller than most other brands I’ve seen. The number cylinders roll freely, but not so much as to be a problem. Much better than others I’ve used. I recently purchased this lock for my shed because I was traveling for several weeks. I opened the lock twice. Once when I set up the combination and the second time yesterday. The plastic piece that is used as a handle to open/close the lock broke while opening for the second time. Please keep in mind, I’m a woman with carpal tunnel, so I don’t have a lot of strength on my hands. The quality and durability of this item (particularly the handle) is very cheap. Now it is very difficult to open with this broken piece. The is supposed to be stainless steel, so I hope it does not rust out in the weather. ... show more
