This is not only beautiful, it is very well designed and made. The zippers work well. The locks operate well. I absolutely love how the liners separate the 2 sides and secure the contents of the sides completely. They roll very well. I didn’t need to use the break, but I’m sure it works great. The handle raises smoothly, though I would like it to be a bit taller. I bought white and it did get pretty scuffed up on our first trip. I waited until I got home to clean it. Most of the marks came off with little effort. But some would not. I even used a toothpick to clean between the ridges. It was a process. Took me about an hour to clean 2 suitcases. My suitcases do not look brand new, but the don’t look bad either. The only improvement I have is to change the texture of the outer shell of the suitcase. It is hard plastid with a sharp ridge pattern. Every time my knee or ankle hit the suitcases, it scraped my skin off. A couple times I was actually bleeding. So wear heavy long pants when you travel with these. I suggest jeans. The suitcases scraped my bare legs and when I wore my yoga pants. OUCH! We primarily travel to tropical areas so this will be an ongoing problem for us. I docked a star because of the battle wounds I received on our trip.

I am a fan of Delay products and to this is one more for the collection. Like all of its cases, one side has a zipper cover to enclose items and the other has straps to.secure bulkier things. This case is balanced, easily moved very attractive and protects your garments

Took my trip to Europe pulling this over cobblestone streets and for the first time ever no broken wheels! The zippers inside and out are sturdy high quality. Love this suitcase! Also! I used the brake feature on a train. Nice!!

Love the suitcase very well-built. My girlfriend liked mine so much. I bought her one for her birthday. The color I chose is white which means at the airport The suitcase will get very dirty looking quickly without a suitcase cover. Why can’t somebody make a suitcase cover that matches a Delsey case with the handle opening on the left side?

Okay, so I purchased solely on looks. I missed the important factor that 1) this does NOT expand; 2) there is no outer zipper pocket; & 3) it’s smaller then 22”. Those were things I needed but got hung up on the beauty of this luggage. I did return it as my needs were not met with this one. I do have to say, it is gorgeous in person! I recommend this if you don’t need certain specs like I did. ;-)

I'm going to start by saying that this is certainly not an unbiased reviewed. By that I mean, I STAN DELSEY. I haven't had a product from them that I didn't like. I love the Delsey Chatelet collection and the only thing preventing me from collecting more pieces are the cost and the fact that I really don't need more luggage. Anyway, on to the review. I got the medium suitcase to match my 2-wheel underseater carry-on for a week-long work trip. I used the ziploc roll up travel bags and 3 small packing cubes and I was able to pack 2 dress, 1 pair of fleece lined leather leggings, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of boots, 2 sweaters, 3 long sleeve shirts, a toiletry bag, drawstring makeup bag (see this item: DeerHope Quick-Pull Drawstring Waterproof Organizer), and 5 pairs of socks and undergarments. Most of these items fit on one side of the suitcase and I had room for souvenirs on the way back. If you have the underseater bag, or the Delsey Chatelet backpack, either of the items will slide right onto the bar for easy stacking and rolling through the airport. The lock is easy to set and comes with instructions. It did receive a couple of minor scratches on this first trip but I haven't seen any major dings or cracks. One of my travel companions, who used a different brand hardside luggage, actually had her suitcase cracked with a large hole in it. It isn't particularly heavy but I also wouldn't consider this a lightweight bag. It is a bit heavier than my soft suitcase of similar dimensions so that's something to consider. When it comes down to style and practicality, I would recommend. Its a gorgeous suitcase and if you use packing cubes or vacuum seal bags, you can really fit a lot into it.
