I don't have air conditioning in my house. Let me tell you those 90 plus degree days are filled with a lot of emotions which none of them are good. Well that ended the day this unit arrived. I bought the 14,000 unit for my 1300 sq foot house. It is amazing at cooling. I set it at 68 when its 85 and up outside. It keeps my house at a comfy 72. I saw a lot of mentions of being loud. Okay yes it makes noise... its a window unit but it is quiet compared to my old one. Again compared to my old one it is the same size but stronger, and functional. I 100% would highly recommend this unit to anyone that needs to keep a small home cool.

I got the 10k btu. It has so many good features, it’s pretty quiet and was powerful enough to cool down the living room and kitchen 4 degrees during the June heatwave in less than 30 minutes. After running it for several hours I got cold (still during the heatwave) and had to turn it down so I’d definitely buy another one again.

This product is horrible. It makes a loud high-pitched ringing noise that will drive your animals insane also yourself also that this doesn’t stay running cold. Didn’t work for cooling down a small damper! A 5000 btu from Toshiba worked better I tried to return it but the post office told me $140 to return. Literally packed this up and brought it into a post office, waiting in line holding 52 pounds for 5 min for no reason, ups told me to contact customer service, amazon asked me to contact seller. and they wanted me to record a video of the sound, but you can’t hear it on the camera so now I have an Ac unit that just stuck in a box in storage this product is a complete waste of money, I feel completely scammed.

I didn't find this easy to install, since you need an extra board (not included) for my style of window and all the fasteners presume you have a window frame you can screw things into (which doesn't work for apartments or non-wood frames). I bought extra security supplies and jury-rigged it to fit, but there's still nothing really holding it in place from the other side. However, it works decently and while it's loader than I hoped for, it's a nice consistent white noise. The seller was very helpful!
