Works really well for cooling my bedroom down. Not sure what the bad reviews are for, the app works flawlessly for me and you can create custom schedules or conditions for the AC to turn on. I always sleep with the fan or air purifier on and this isn’t much louder. I work in HVAC and I feel like the output of this is really good. I used hardcast tape to seal it to the window, but duct tape also works. Instructions are very easy to follow but I guess reading comprehension can be hard sometimes. Not as big as I thought it would be and it is very sleek looking. The controlling of temperature and fan speed with your phone through the app is the best part. So this is a great AC and works wonderfully the app is easy and seamless, my only complaint is the sleep setting. While it’s amazing since it dims the very vibrant LED lights, every hour for 2 hours it increases the temp by 2 degrees each hour, 2x hour = 4 degree increase. Even though this is not modified on the AC itself. (Heat is 2 degrees down every hour for 2x hour and holds for 12 hours) Which I kept wondering why the AC wasn’t turning on when it saying it was 73 in the room even though I had it set on 66… it was a bit delayed but eventually and finally turned on but only to cool it down to 70 degrees. While this is a great feature it’s a bit confusing. I wish you could just dim the lights or even turn them off as a night time mode. This is something I didn’t know when initially purchasing the item. ... show more

I live in the very humid area of Coastal South Carolina. Purchased this to supplement the air conditioning in our FROG / bonus room. It works great. Even during the day it helped drop the temperature there. I like that I could move it to another room during power loss if needed. I haven’t needed to set up a condensation catch bucket b/c of the evaporation feature it uses. It's perfect for my application! I'm cooling one room rather than the whole house at bedtime. It is a little noisy but makes for really nice white noise. I'm most excited to see how it works in the winter.

    • Poor design window adapter kit
Size: 10000 BTU With Heating
The window adapter kit included with this unit only works with frames having a width of either approximately 26 inches or between 36" - 48". If your window is between 26" and 36", then you will left to your own devices to develop a solution. Also I recognize that this is a Wi-Fi enabled device but it comes with an IR remote control and there evidently isn't an attachment point or storage location for the remote on the unit itself. These are relatively minor issues but at this price, I would typically expect better design and much better customer support. A few other observations about this window adapter kit: 1) The instructions for how to install this kit are very meager. 2) The adapter kit is designed in such a manner, that if the wing nut is installed facing the interior, then without some form of cover, the adapter will collect /trap water & debris. 3) The adapter kit is not insulated and will reduce the energy efficiency of the overall system. Users will need to seal the adapter as well as add a layer of insulation in order to achieve greater performance. 4) From a security perspective, the adapter kit does not secure to any portion of the frame or sash and it is not hardened. Users should install the adapter kit in a location not susceptible to unauthorized entry, employ intrusion motion detection monitors, or harden and secure the adapter kit to prevent access. For my part, I trimmed two inches from a portion of the adapter kit to make it fit, attached a remote control caddie to the unit, designed and installed an outside cover to prevent water & debris collection, added window seals and insulation to the kit, and securely fastened the sash to the frame (while still allowing quick egress in case of fire). But Della could have easily provided better, less expensive, more convenient design solutions to resolve each of these issues ahead of time, so that users didn’t have to create their own solutions for each of these issues. ... show more

It was easy to set up and it really cools my room! We had a stretch of 100° weather and this really did help a lot. I did have to run my ceiling fan at the same time to circulate the air so that's the only down side. The unit didn't cool the room by itself. But I am still impressed. I need to test out the app and see if I can turn it on when I'm away to pre-cool my room before I get home. Will update. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical to purchase this because of the limited reviews but it is a fairly new product and it looked pretty good so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did! In my video it seems much louder (it’s not so bad) and I wanted to demonstrate the remote and fan speeds! Also, I set mine up to continuously drain, that is optional! You’ll see in manual (: Pros! • I don’t have a proper window for the air conditioner, but even so it works incredibly well for my window having to be mostly open! • Cools my room down in 15 minutes! • The app and remote control work great! Remote doesss need batteries. •Space Saving! Fits soooo perfect in my room, the shape is awesome and not clunky. •Sleek design for price! Cons! •A bit loud, but that’s expected with air conditioners and you get used to the hummm🌬️ Not much else to say, this thing makes my summer!
