  • Amazing computer! Switched back from Apple and couldn't be happier.
I know what you are thinking . . this guy is crazy. I have owned Macbook Pros for the last 15+ years. They are solid powerhouses with great resale value. I have always upgraded the ram / hard drive and they last 5-7 years for me. Now . . Macbook Pros cannot be upgraded (ram/hard drive soldered to the motherboard). I needed to upgrade but had no clue where to go. I have always had a PC at home that I use for artwork/music/etc. The Macbook Pro was just my travel computer. In walks the Dell XPS 13 (9370). After a few months of using it, I can honestly say that I am impressed. Its 13" screen is the same size as my Macbook Pro . . BUT and this is a big BUT (ie: Sir Mix Alot) . . there is barely a rim at all. This laptop is WAY lighter than my Macbook and a lot smaller (I know . . if I had a new Macbook Pro it would be similar . . but it would also cost $400 to put 16gb of ram in it). This laptop is fast, light, and honestly a great product. I love Windows 10 and the functionality. The battery life is great . . trackpad is great . . keyboard is great . . did I mention this thing is Great! Buy one . . you won't regret it! ... show more

  • Poor Battery
Cosmetically the device looks new. However, the battery will hold a charge less than 10 minutes. I understand this is a refurbished item, but since the retail price of a new battery is less than $40, which means the refurbishing company could get a new battery for $15, why not replace the battery during refurbishment and avoid a 1 star review? The computer works well and is decently fast when plugged in. If you want to avoid the hassle of replacing the battery, my suggestion would be to buy from somebody else. ... show more

  • Performance and Price
This is a refurbished that I bought for the cheaper price. The Dell XPS 9370 has performed like new, it looks great, compact, and lite weight and construction is solid. The screen resolution is very good. It has quiet operation. It does get hot during long periods of use, with my photo editing software use, but heating up is nothing new with laptops in general. I have had many over the years, from various computer company's, Not bought from Walmart, and they all have heating up after various times in use. This Dell goes longer than the others. Also, Dell much improved the performance from the XPS 9315 that I had. A good buy! ... show more

  • UHD stands for Ultra Problematic
I love this laptop for these reasons: -RAM -Memory -Ports (Universal-C) used for charging on both sides! -Infinity edge -Resolution is spectacular in UHD -Touchscreen -Up to date hardware I hate this laptop for these reasons: -UHD screen just stopped working one day after overheating ($600 to replace). -Laptop overheats (due to UHD screen) -Repairing is expensive. -No USB ports -Heavy (UHD screen is heavy) -Screen only opens to 130° -Webcam near keyboard (bc of infinity edge). My hands are the biggest things displayed during meetings followed by the underside of my neck! -Beware warranties under Amazon and under Dell, since they can expire earlier than you expect in renewed electronics. Overall, I love this baby, but next time I purchase I would go for something a little lighter while using QHD or FHD for battery life, overheating, and cost of replacement if I run into any issues. ... show more

  • Great laptop
This is my second Dell xps 13. Best laptop I’ve ever had. Good battery life; great screen quality and keyboard. I now have 2 both operating great. I should be good for awhile.

  • Looked new!
The laptop looks new and works as expected. Very light and the display is very sharp. I considered sending this one back for the 9360 a bit less money with the older USB but this works great, looks great so I think it is a keeper.

  • Broke after ~2 weeks of use
I had the same experience as one of the other reviewers. When I first got the laptop it was working but got very hot with normal usage and the fan was going full speed with very light usage (I'm talking 2 browser tabs with email and a random other site). After two weeks, it completely stopped working. It was running slow in the morning so I did a standard restart. After it turned off, it wouldn't turn back on. Screen would stay black, keyboard would light up, and then the light in the front of the computer would flash a pattern of lights. After some Googling, I found that 2 amber (orange) lights and 1 white light indicated a CPU failure. Not really sure how that randomly happens but suspect it might have been defective which is why it was running hot all the time. Battery usage was also really bad. I'm a programmer and when I was working on it, it would be down to 15% after an hour or two while just running VSCode, a web server, and a browser. All-in-all, I bought this as an experiment trying to switch off of Mac. It was a total disappointment. Windows is STILL absolutely terrible. The computer was lackluster at best (when it worked) and literally just stopped working. Returned. ... show more
