I've had this PC for a year now and it works "fine." That's the best I can say about it. I had some issues with it when I first bought it (chip wasn't what I ordered. Windows Pro is supposed to be on it.) Seller told me both were installed. slmgr /dli confirms only Core is on this system (thank you Gemini). He told me to call him to set Pro up. What??. Why do I need to call you to "set up" something that was supposed to be on there to begin with? I let that go because Pro is easy enough to install. But I'm not letting go of the fact that it freezes and crashes as much as it does. If the problem was as bad when I bought it as it is now, I would have sent it back. Totally my fault that I didn't. I thought I could fix a simple software problem. After this experience I've learned to buy from the manufacturer only. Not from Amazon third party sellers. I've had it too long to do anything about it, but I'm hoping my experience will save other potential customers the money. ... show more

The physical product was fine. Getting it was a hassle. Once I booted up, I found different versions of software for different countries and languages.     • Possible Scam - I9 chip in an I5 motherboard
I thought I was buying this from Dell, but apparently not. I started having issues 2 months after purchase and contacted Dell, using the Service Tag#. Sadly, Dell told me that PC originally shipped with an Intel I5 chip (possibly* an I7, but not 100% at this point). The PC they built uses a chipset that doesn't support an I9 chip. My $3K PC died in about 2 months with OS/BSOD issues and when I shipped it to them for repair, it "conveniently" was damaged by UPS who had packed, insured and shipped the PC from their store. Even though Ultra PC had the PC for several weeks after receiving it (I have the texts saying that "the techs are working on it") without *once* mentioning damage in transit, they told me to file a claim with UPS that was repeatedly denied. I suspect they knew it was an incompatible chip, took my money and then wanted me to try to get my money from UPS. Scam, in my opinion. ... show more

I’m leaving this review to help future buyers understand what the post-purchase experience may be like. The PC I received developed a hardware defect (abnormally loud fan noise) shortly after delivery. Dell Technical Support confirmed the fan was defective. The seller attempted a repair by sending a replacement fan, but Dell advised that the part was not identical and that using it could void the manufacturer warranty. The seller then agreed in writing to accept the return and issue a full refund, and I returned the PC using the seller-approved process. However, only a partial refund was initially issued, with a significant restocking fee withheld. Amazon later confirmed that the restocking fee should not have been applied for a defective-item return. Resolving the remaining refund required many repeated follow-ups and escalation through Amazon, and ultimately took over three months to fully resolve before the remaining balance was refunded. While the seller did eventually agree to the return, the overall resolution process for a defective item was far more time-consuming than expected. ... show more
