I’ve been a computer guy, my whole life, and I’ve always appreciated the reliability of the XPS 15. I was particularly amazed by the accurate, audio quality. It’s much lighter than some of the MacBooks. Although the microphone is not reliable, and I would consider getting a external one. I bought the XPS 15 with the i7 and 16 GB of RAM. If I could go back I would purchase the 32 GB ram. This computer is capable of 64 GB ram total and I may have to upgrade down the road. One thing I don’t like about windows products when they are new is that you will be consistently bombarded with notifications that suggest that you Upgrade your Windows account or your storage. You can silence these, but somehow they come back. I don’t like this trackpad on this computer at all as well. I have it set to the highest sensitivity and the computer cannot tell when I am right, clicking, or left clicking With my fingers. I’ve had this computer for around a month now and when I have too many applications open and I am consistently using them The computer will shut down and request that I restart it. honestly, I know I am tough in my computers due to my line of work, which is journalism and video producing. Despite my criticisms this computer is more resilient than 80% of them I have tested in my line of work. For the average user or student this computer should be more than enough and last day long time. ... show more
