Bought this for a work computer. I travel a great deal for work, so the small size is helpful. It docks well when I'm at my desk. I do like that the screen goes all the way to the edge. Makes the smaller screen size look bigger without the border. Runs well for what it's intended for.

The Dell XPS13 is very well known to be an excellent computer for STEM college students. It is light but does not sacrifice on power.

    • motherboard failed within 6 months
This was a great laptop until the motherboard failed after just 6 months.. Apparently this is a common problem with the XPS 13 so its quite a risky purchase..

    • No refurbished well
Bottom cover is missing a screw. When the screen is opened, the bottom cover separates from the base and makes a "click' sound.

Battery died within a week. Only works when plugged in. Battery light flashes orange then white.

Very happy with this item and the service. The item arrived in good condition and weeks earlier than scheduled. Opened up the unit when I received it and it booted up quickly and have had no problems since then.
