Great hub that powers the newer PCs and monitors that have USB-C style PD ports. Do not plug a PD cable from the D6000S hub into the USB-C port on your PC or monitor unless it has a lightening bolt or PD marking. Better yet, search the web to confirm that your specific device is compatible with the D-6000S hub. A DP marking on the PC is data port specific but no extra power. The PD cable has upwards of 100W of power running through it. There are other Dell hubs that you can used. A two year old Dell G5-5590 is not compatible with this hub. Fortunately, my new Dell XPS draws its power from the hub which is awesome because I can leave the XPS travel sized power adapter in my back-pack. The D600S is perfect for the XPS laptop and dual monitor use at home office.

Works perfectly with my Asus personal laptop, but my work Lenovo Thinkpad, it only charges and has working USB. The monitor ports do not work/not recognized.

I debated if I should have given this a 5-star review because as far as I can tell, Dell does not seem to be responsible for the DisplayLink drivers that are needed for this device on Windows PC's. Long story short: Works flawlessly with 2 4K monitors @60Hz and a bunch of USB's connected. Yes, you must ensure your PC is just as capable. I would say a minimum of Thunderbolt v3 USB-C port is needed. My PC has Thunderbolt v4, so... My only regret is that your gaming experience suffers because the DisplayLink drivers do not support DirectX 12 Ultimate, no matter how many graphic cards your PC has. If you plan on gaming, better be lightweight, non-demanding games. Well, maybe I exaggerate. I did play a lot of Age of Empires IV in 4K with no mayor issues. Still, not the best experience now that I have bypassed the dock with direct HDMI and DisplayPort cables direct to my PC. The difference is notable for sure. So there. Summary: Excellent dock; avoid if you are setting up a gaming environment.

This docking station is perfect since i can expand the display to 3 external monitors.

It’s great. It can simultaneously charge and connect a laptop to 3 monitors, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and external speakers. But! It has two DisplayPorts and only 1 HDMI connection for the monitors. Finding monitors with both HDMI and DataPort is not as easy as you’d think.

Basically DOA for my purposes, as the HDMI failed shortly after arrival, and it's basically worthless to me without it. I've been too busy to try to attempt to return it.
