Great for basic computer audio and support online meetings if you don't need a camera. Controls are easy to find and use. Magnet mount works great with (of course) any compatible Dell monitor. Gray fabric exterior looks just upscale enough for any decor.

I so love this option to add sound to a monitor. And the best part was mounting it, simply attaches via magnetic connection to base of monitor and a simple USB plug into the monitor USB port. All done, except to change the settings for sound output in Windows Settings. Options to turn them on/off and adjust volume easily from a couple of knobs on the outside edges makes it simple as well. ... show more

    • Terrible! Just truly terrible! It's an unmitigated disaster.
Words cannot accurately state just how terrible the sound is from this soundbar. After hearing one video from this device, it left me wondering what on earth they were thinking. When you cannot understand dialogue from a single person because of the distortion, why even produce this thing? It's a waste of time buying this thing, because you'll just return it within minutes. I made the mistake of buying it purely because it is designed to connect to my Dell monitor. Don't be tricked. It'll take time to receive, install, use once, then repack and return.     • Sounds like a tiny AM radio from the 70s
I bought this because I love my older Dell Soundbars that sound great. This one doesn't sound great, and is more like an old AM radio from the 60s, when transistors became mainstream from Japanese products. But this soundbar fits my Dell U2722 Monitors with a magnetic mount that is pretty secure, and plugs into the monitor. The sound quality is on par with the builtin speaker on a Mac Mini, but just a little bit better. I submitted a return on this item, because I thought the Cyber Acoustics USB would be better, but that item would not stick to my monitor and fell off after 10 seconds, so I returned the Cyber Acoustics and kept this Dell unit. I don't use this Dell Soundbar, for I use an older Dell Soundbar that sits on my desktop, and one day I will make a mount for it out of some sheet aluminum to make it permanent. As for this unit, not sure why Dell makes this, perhaps it's for the cubicle worker that just needs to hear the audio, without being too loud. It's fine for Video meetings, and doesn't take up space on the Desktop. Plus I can't find anything better yet. ... show more
