  • It works as advertised!
Style: Power Bank Plus
I bought this especially for my XPS 13 9370. The somewhat versatility of having to leave my phone charger home as well was compelling. 65W is a lot for a battery pack this size to give out, I mean, I was skeptical , based on shear size alone. It is well made, encased in aluminum, very sturdy indeed. Five small white LED's double as the battery meter and power button. It charges as quickly as the power adapter, which for this model is 45W, so this battery pack can easily supply. I had a chance to test it today. I used my laptop until it had discharged to 20%. I had fully charged the pack two nights before and the indicator was still at five bars, no problem of immediate drain is a good sign. I continued using the laptop, the pack fully charged it up to 99% in 1hr and 15min before it went dead. There was an orange light blinking on the LED array but continued to charge for about 15 min before switching off. It did get slightly warm but absolutely nothing to complain about. It also charges my wife's Dell XPS 13 9350. It fully charged up in about 2hrs with my laptop charger, that's just great! I use any one of the three ports to charge my phone also. Was worried about the beastly power delivery standard but it seems to work fine. I'm very happy with the quality of this product and It's a no brainier to use. ... show more

  • A Must Have for USB C Laptop
Style: Power Bank Plus
This is the device I've been looking for since the day I bought my ThinkPad x270 with USB-C charging. If there's a USB-C battery pack on Amazon, I've purchased it or tried it. This is the only one I've had that literally works with every device I've plugged into it (Pixel, S8, ThinkPad, Acer Chromebook, Dell XPS) There are a few little things that makes this pack stand out from the rest + Built in USB-C Cable means I don't have to play Macgyver when charging my laptop on the plane. + Ability to charge FROM the USB-C charger I already carry for my laptop / phone / etc + Traditional USB port for the poor suckers who own iphones and can't charge with USB-C like the rest of the modern world. The light at the end of the cable make it easy to find in the dark, the built-in battery gauge means I'm never guessing where the battery is at. 65Wh means I basically have a second laptop battery in my case, and this thing is made WELL! If it ends up as durable as it is impressive out of the box I'll be buying many more of these! I was hesitant to order this because of some of the bad reviews and my previous not so great experiences with these packs for charging LAPTOPS (everything does phones/tablets well enough) let me assure you this WILL live up to your exectations! ... show more

  • Ignorant Decision
Style: Power Bank Plus
Strongly believe I purchased this portable charger out of ignorance, because I thought a portable charger would last for maybe 6-8hrs. I didn't have much experience with portable laptop chargers. Only with smaller devices. This only held a charge for an hour and a half. So I learned to work with it by fully charging my laptop, then while I'm working plug in the charger to keep it at full. So when an hour and a half passes. I can still work off the laptop battery until I get back home to plug the laptop up to the docket station to finish working. Yeah. I won't make this mistake again. ... show more

  • Just what I needed for my HP Spectre x360
Style: Power Bank Plus
Works fantastic with my HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 15.6" 4K Ultra HD TouchScreen Laptop. Battery charges from the HP power supply while running the laptop and stand alone, the battery powers the laptop to extend run time. It does heat up when discharging but the metal case helps dissipate the heat. Not too hot but definitely warm. Love the fact that I can extend my run time and also charge my phone as well. ... show more

  • Good Battery - Poor Configuration
Style: Power Bank Plus
If you're looking for a backup battery for your power-hungry USB C devices (such as a Surface Go tablet), then your old USB battery isn't going to work. You'll need a battery like this one. After reading some reviews, I decided that this Dell battery was probably among the better ones on the market, and from a reliable manufacturer, so I grabbed it. Although it is functional, I've been mostly disappointed and left with the feeling that this is a version 1.0 product that will soon be replaced by something better. The battery itself seems solid and it is able to charge my Surface Go and other USB devices a few times on a single charge. From that perspective, it works well and does what it is designed to do. The documentation that came with this device is absoutely horrible. Look at some of the other reviews if you need to understand what the ports do. This battery does not come with an AC charger. If you don't already have a USB-C charger that works on your device, then you'll need to purchase one separately. And, be warned, this requires a higher-power charger than older USB-C chargers - so your existing charger may not work. Factor that into your cost and portability analysis because the higher power chargers cost more and are heavier. The cable extending from the battery is what you plug into your USB-C device. The cable is hard-wired into the battery and seems to me to be an item that will be subject to wear and tear and if it breaks, will cause the battery to become useless. This cable is the only port for charging your device - if you want to charge a non-USB-C device, you'll need to get a converter. There is a USB-C input port on the battery. Your existing USB-B to USB-C cable probably won't work here, so plan to bet a USB-C to USB-C cable, and be sure it is rated for the correct level of power. The USB-B port is a pass through port so you can plug a device (such as a memory stick, or wireless remote for PowerPoint) into it. But it does not appear to be a charging port, so don't expect to charge multiple devices at the same time. If this device included and adaptor, exchanged the hard wired cable for a port, and added two more USB charging ports, it would be a much better product. It's meeting my minimum needs, but at a much higher cost (and level of frustration) than I would prefer. As it is, I can't recommend it. ... show more
