My experience with the Dell Precision 7760 (RTX A3000, 64GB RAM) I purchased this workstation to support my business while pursuing professional growth in the U.S. I’m a civil engineer from my home country and currently preparing for my General Contractor license in Florida. I needed a powerful, reliable, and affordable laptop to handle 3D design, rendering, and technical tasks—without spending thousands on a new machine. My configuration: Intel Core i7-11850H (11th Gen) 64GB DDR4 RAM 1TB NVMe SSD NVIDIA RTX A3000 (6GB) 17.3” FHD Display Windows 10 Pro Real-world performance: I tested the laptop using a heavy scene in Blender Cycles. The render took ~50 minutes at 1000 samples, with a max GPU temp of only 58 °C. Smooth, silent, and stable performance throughout. No thermal throttling, and the RTX A3000 handled everything perfectly. What I liked: Excellent performance for rendering and modeling Very quiet under load Large, comfortable screen Great build quality Incredible value for the price (renewed) RTX A3000 is a serious professional GPU Keep in mind: It’s heavy, as expected from a workstation Screen is FHD (not 2K/4K), but works fine Large power adapter (normal for this level) Do I recommend it? Absolutely. If you need a workstation for architecture, engineering, design, or professional rendering, this laptop delivers. It feels like a desktop, but it’s portable and affordable. After adding a bit more RAM and SSD, this Dell Precision PC is amazing. I wish I had upgraded sooner. The key board is complete, but a bit different configuration. The 17" screen is bright and sharp. Love it!

The laptop is is great condition. It looks like it is new. It arrived fully charged and quickly booted up. I tested many functions, as well as installing my personal software, and it operates great. I have no reason to think that it will not for a long time.

Yes, this is heavy. Yes, the power brick is heavier than some laptops I've owned. But, it is a true workstation. If you are the type of person who needs to run Professional packages like Solidworks, this is the machine for you. If you need the workstation now, and not 45 day hence, buy it. You won't be disappointed. I did my own upgrades: 1) 2x WD 2TB SSDs, and 2) added 32 GB of RAM. So now I'm rocking 4.5 TB of drive space and 64 GB of RAM. Good times. (Proverbial kid in a candy store.) Making changes in the BIOS is easy. Dell has excellent documentation online. Buy the additional coverage ... just to be safe. Or, not. ... show more
