I bought this to replace an ancient computer that died. It works well. It is significantly faster than what it replaced, even though it is far from state of the art. But for a bit over $100 it does what I need.

I purchased this pc one year ago and I have been very happy with the product. Until now 1 year from purchase. My pc froze and a message popped into the screen that this computer was owned by a company in India and had to be returned. I brought my pc into the geek squad to see if it could be fixed and after dropping another $100 was told no the original owner had it set up this way. I believe when you buy a refurbished pc this should be taken care of. After a year I now own a very expensive paper weight! ... show more

I had an old desktop laying around, but it was so gawd awful slow that it was practically unusable. Add to that, b/c it had a home version of its operating system, it was severely limited in RAM. I was only using it to drive a desktop CNC milling machine, but even that was taxing its ability, especially when it came to downloading software or patterns. This machine to the rescue! Set up was effortless, and it's fast. Also very compact, so fits nicely next to my CNC machine. It was also very reasonable, especially when I factored in how much of my precious time I was spending trying to get my other POS working better, without spending money on an operating system upgrade (which would have cost more than this nice machine!). It's also really quiet (not that I care much since the milling machine isn't and both live in the garage) and has a textured case. I'm very happy with this purchase - and also happy that I still have hair left after spending a few weeks pulling it out in frustration over the previous machine. ... show more

I'm only using this for 24/7 recording of a single front facing house camera. It sometimes has issues recording while scrubbing through playback of other recorded video. The PC is a Dell OptiPlex 3020 with the following specs: - Intel Core i5-4570 3.20 GHz (4C/4T) - 16 GB DDR3-1600 (2x 8GB SDRAM) - 512GB KingFast SSD For future reliability, I recommend upgrading the SSD. I opted to add Quadro P600 GPU (tight fit). For most people, these specs should be fine for browsing and some productivity. I got it for $130 + tax, and I wouldn't recommend paying more than $150 for one. ... show more

The computer productivity was awesome! The only problem I had with it was that the case wasn’t that great for ventilation. I just bought a bigger case for it, hoping it won’t overheat as much anymore. The computer came SUPER dusty. Yeah, the only thing I’m complaining about here is the case. It was too small to allow ventilation and proper cooling. I recommend future buyers to buy a bigger case for it. ... show more
