    • Great Rebuilt -- For a more than reasonable price.
I bought this computer to do video editing for teenage basketball players on the nearby reservation. My Acer lap top with 4GB memory did the job, but this Dell 990 loaded with 16GB memory does it many times faster and makes the job so much more enjoyable. The improvement in speed is incredible. The 2TB hard drive is huge, but of course not as fast or as costly as newer SSD drive technology. I actually had to phone customer service to get Windows 10 Pro to load, but there was no wait time on the call, and they gave 5+ star service all the way. I would do business with this company again in a flash! (Blair Technology Group) Being an older model rebuilt computer, the only drawback was that there were no 3.0 or 3.1 USB ports. So dumping the contents of my laptop into this computer v.i.a. a USB drive was a slow process. I probably should have wasted a blank DVD to make the transfers. I basically knew the specs on this computer when I ordered it, and could have done better if I had spent 3 times more. I am totally satisfied with this purchase, and would highly recommend this company. Powerful computer right outta the box. No issues so far. I'm not worried about the refurbished status - it's working great. **Keep in mind this computer has no speakers, so you might want to get some USB ones.** Update: I've had this computer for three months now and I'm glad I bought it. Just because it is refurbished; people don't need to be hesitant. My desktop is working beautifully. I wish I had taken this step earlier. The only thing I did not like, was that I was not texted (through Amazon) letting me know that my tower had been delivered. I would have cut my trip short had I know it was on its way. Other than this issue, I love the product. When I ordered my tower; it came with a monitor and keyboard and mouse. They are all beyond my expectations. ... show more

    • Great value for simple home personal/business needs
Bought this for a family member to upgrade an older retired system (from Windows Vista to Windows 10) who doesn't play PC Games and only does Web Browser, Email, and the occasional Word or Excel spreadsheet activity. I have to say the packaging of the re-purposed equipment was great, providing proper protection and organization. It was all ready set up and set to go. There was good information on how to contact the company, although i did not need to do so. I'd highly recommend if you have a family member who needs a quick/efficient system for home-business/personal needs. The only draw back is you do not get to pick which monitor comes with the computer but they provided a good quality Dell 4:3 LCD monitor that accomplishes the simple need.     • Gamers beware
I guess you get what you pay for. Let me start by saying I will be returning this computer shortly as it doesn't function as you would expect from how powerful it is presented to be. The included mouse/keyboard/monitor are all junk, the monitor i received didn't even have an HDMI port which was frustrating to say the least. The mouse would do weird things like right click randomly all over the screen for literally no reason, and the keyboard is so big and clunky, the keys actually catch on my fingernails which is so weird! The included wifi adapter was also pretty...not good. It would often drop my connection which was frustrating. If you're willing to overlook the included accessories, which I was, this computer isn't too bad. It'll do your school work and it would be good for offices and work from home. However, if you want to play games, even just lightweight games like stardew valley, this computer is WRONG for you. It would lag horribly and I haven't even been able to open a single steam game. I'm not a heavy gamer, and as such, my games are simple- Starbound, stardew valley, dont starve, but not a single one of them would run in any playable capacity. It's not a horrible bundle for anyone who wants a machine for school or work, but gamers beware, this is not the machine for you!! If you're looking for a cheap machine to upgrade (all you builders out there) look somewhere else, the case is way too small and the power supply is just not good enough to support anything other than the included hardware.
