I have purchased a number of these small Dell OptiPlex units over the past few years. The current crop seems the best in fit, finish and function. It took minimal effort to get up and running and to transfer personal files over from the system being replaced. Speed is not bad, getting the network set up took minimal effort, and the presence of a CD drive made installing older applications simple. The only issue was the unit did not have an internal network. It was supplied with a 5k dongle, which is reflected in the loss of a star. ... show more

Bought for game server. Everything works, tool 2 hours to get my server running. But yea.. works great. And packaging was really good. Lots of foam with no wiggle room

    • CAX30 failed after 18 months
We have had the CAX30 for 18 months. Suddenly, it appears the wifi side loses connection with the router side. Our ISP has been out and checked all connections, run diagnostics, and think wifi side is failing since connection is not lost to the modem from the ISP. I have posed a question to Netgear regarding this particular model and have received no reply. Of course, the warranty was for only 12 months! Do NOT buy this model. ... show more
