To be fair, this is a "5 star" machine for what it is, a refurbished 6th generation i7! I started running a PLEX server about 5 years ago on a refurbished HP with a 2nd generation i3 processor. Regardless of the PLEX benchmark, this is really the minimum, and it is fine if only one person is watching something. But now, I have my 85 year old dad and about 4 other family members spread around the country using it... This isn't the most powerful machine in the world but according to benchmarks, it should be able to handle 8-9 people watching movies on the plex at the same time! And the SSD hard drive is a dream. I stress tested it and it worked perfectly. The CPU seemed almost bored! I'd say if you're looking for an inexpensive server of any type, this is perfect. There is only room to add 1 more hard drive so most of your storage needs to be external but at least, you have 10 USB 3.1 ports and 1 open slot to add a card (but it is a low profile slot). ... show more

This is the second exact same computer I ordered a couple of weeks ago. The first one was refurbished by Redstone Computer and arrived in excellent condition. I was so happy with my purchase that I ordered another. unfortunately I did not notice that this one came from a different company. When this computer arrived it was lose in the box and was in very rough cosmetic condition. The difference in the care taken during packing was obvious, TekRefurbs apparently just threw the computer in the box with little regard for what condition it arrived in. Buyer beware, when you order refurbished computer hardware, the company doing the refurbishment matters, the company I received this order from sent me garbage. I have since returned this computer and hope I can get another from the company I purchased the first one from. ... show more

Thought I had ordered more disk and 256 GB falls short. (I have a few). Windows 11 also not within reach. $208 will work with attaching external USB storage for a vacation home. Wireless, HDMI just fine. Did not need KB, power cords, etc. More disk preferable.

This PC is good for the value but it was stated as having built in wifi which it does not, not a deal breaker for me but if it says it's included in the description then I expect it to be included. A USB dongle for wifi was included instead.
