It has been a month and its working fine, not faced any issue as such. I forgot to activate the window using the key available on the laptop and faced some problem but that was my mistake. After I activated the window it's working fine. Pros: 1. Good configuration 2. Reliable product from dell 3. It is of ~1.99 kg so not very heavy 4. Look wise this is a cool laptop Cons: 1.     • A great deal for cheap folks like me
***Two months later*** Still very happy, one of the best tech purchases I've made for the money. Be aware though, has no built in HDMI port and the audio is poor. I didn't buy it for either (my monitor has a VGA port), but just some thoughts... I'm a general cheapskate, but this PC fit both the budget and my needs. I do light video editing, as well as want to stream in 1080p on Youtube, etc. This works very well. Came WITH a charger. Battery lasts about two hours. Came set up and ready to roll (although it did come in tablet mode with the screen oriented the wrong way). Love my purchase of this so far and will recommend. ... show more

    • Yup. Not a bad laptop
I just started college classes and I needed a computer, so I got this (thankfully I had financial aid to help!).This is my first computer, and I use it mostly for typing documents, creating powerpoints, basic web surfing, and streaming videos on YouTube. I don't play games on this laptop, but one can only imagine how games would run on an i5core processor/ 8gb RAM/2.6ghz, which I don't think is too bad. Overall, it works great for what I do on it, and seeing as how it's refurbished, I'd say it's definitely worth the money. Now, I would give this 5 stars, however, there is a bit of a quirk I've experienced with this laptop I'd like to address ... For the 4 months or so that I've had this laptop, it has had random bouts of what I like to call "freeze-lock". Usually when I boot the laptop, it starts up and takes me to my account login screen within seconds. This thing is pretty fast! However, once in a blue moon (or perhaps it's when the planets align) when I boot up the computer, it will take several minutes longer than usual to take me to the login screen, and when it does, it won't even show me my account, leaving me with no option to login while staring aimlessly at the background. Thankfully, the backgrounds are high definition and very gorgeous. If it weren't for that, this review would be 3 stars .... Sooo .... that's pretty much it. I usually have to hard reset it when that "freeze-lock" thing happens, but like I said, only during a blood-moon's lunar eclipse. Oh yeah, my laptop has a webcam. I've seen a lot of contradictory reviews pertaining to wehter or not there is a webcam ... just thought I'd throw that out there. ... show more

    • Failed after two months, warranty nonexistant, buyers beware
The laptop failed after two months of very light use. I did some research and determined that it was having a "post" issue - it was getting power from the motherboard but not even beginning the boot process. In short, the thing doesn't turn on. When this happened, I contacted the seller, Blazing Prices, to figure out how to utilize the 1-year warranty provided with this laptop purchase. After not hearing back quickly, I contacted Dell directly. But after 30-40 mins on the phone, we still could not locate a Service Tag Number, which is required to get product support from Dell. I contacted Blazing Prices again, this time just asking for the Service Tag Number. All I got then, and in my subsequent emails, was an automated reply: "Your message has been assigned to me, and I am reviewing it as a high priority. I will follow up with you very soon." There has never been a follow-up email, and I still have no way of fixing the computer through warranty. For all intents and purposes, the sellers are selling POS hardware and lying about a warranty. DO NOT BUY. ... show more

It arrived a day early! Was in perfect condition. I bought it for my wife who seems to be very pleased. I'm not the greatest in setting everything up on computers, but as luck would have it the Mormon missionaries came along and set it up. They loaded Windows 10 and showed me how to set up a shortcut for E-mails. This is the 3rd refurbished Dell computer I have bought in the past few months. The other two were Optiplex 780's desktops. They also work well. I use one, and my daughter in Florida's five kids like and use the other one. I know that used is not for everybody, but this deal works for me! ... show more

    • Refurbished. I don't think that means what they think it means.
Back when I was a repair tech refurbished meant repaired to like new condition. This does not meet that criteria. It looks like the ran some tests and slapped in a new OS, nothing more. There were a lot of missing drivers, which meant half the features do not function as expected. The VGA and HDMI port did not work until I got the video drivers. One USB port did not function until a driver update. The charger supplied less power than oem. This is a great buy for a computer savvy person, but a horrible buy for a tech illiterate. It's a business class machine, so upgrading/repair is a piece of cake (no glue like today's consumer machines). I like being able to swap out SSD drives (no dual boot hassle, but mainly security) with out taking the machine apart. ... show more
