The laptop was received in like-new condition. Set-up was easy. I bought this laptop specifically to do my taxes (since I could not load non-work software onto my company PC) and as a back-up for when I could not use my work PC. I was able to load the tax software and submit my taxes successfully. I essentially used this laptop maybe a half dozen times. The PC was then put away in my desk shelves with no extremes in temp or vibration. 6 months later, when I needed this laptop it would not boot up. PXE-061 Media Test Failure = essentially the SSD hard drive failed, which was frustrating. I contacted customer support and they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Great seller! I took a chance and bought 2 at the same time baseed on the good reviews. Right off the bat I noticed how beautifully packaged and how clean the computer looked almost new. I knew right away it was money well spent. Set up was straight forward except that you would need a Microsoft account to get Pass the windows 10 set up. Everything worked then I noticed that the charger was getting unusually hot and so was the computer itself. I looked closely at the charger and noticed it was not an original Dell charger, it was an aftermarket 3rd party charger. I immediately knew this was the issue. Dell makes its products to meet specific standards and its accessories should never be compromised. Being that this was a refurbished I doubt the seller would have available Dell chargers. I just happened to have 20 of these Dell chargers in my Storage. I know it's Dell because it says Dell on it and it's really heavy and feels of high quality it also has a blue led light at the plug point. I swapped out the chargers and immediately banished the cheap charger that came with the laptop. The difference was immediate, no hot surface anywhere and the laptop charged nicely. In conclusion if you are going to invest in these laptops at these price points, it is strongly advised that you also invest in the original chargers that was made with the computer when Brand new. They are usually available at reasonable prices on eBay. Top notch computer for the price. I just saved myself almost $800 not buying a brand new computer. Great Product. ... show more

We've purchase several of these within the last 3-5 years for our business. Works great for about a year or so, then battery starts to fail. If you're looking at purchasing this laptop, make sure to buy the warranty protection. I've had to swap or replace these quite frequently due to heavy usage and I've never had a problem with the warranty company. They will resolve all issues: full tech support, fix and repair, replacement, full refund, you name it. Buy with confidence but don't forget the warranty protection!!👍 ... show more

Hello, I ordered this laptop with the delivery expectation of being here Monday. I was beyond pleased with the prompt early delivery on Saturday!! The laptop itself is in pristine condition and was sent as described in safe packaging and with a Dell charger. I have owned the Dell Latitude 7 series for 3 years and needed a new laptop for school due to the old one being from a previous job and still requiring permissions for downloads I needed this semester for school. After loving the durability of my ole trusty laptop and its high speed, I decided to try this E5470 after some review research on the 2 and their comparisons. I was leery with some of the mixed reviews of purchase, but ultimately decided to give it a shot. As of now, I’m so happy with my purchase!!! The media could not be loaded. The lapton when I go learns it turns off and is fully loaded I don't know if I can return it. To begin with, it was a gift that I had to bring to my country, Honduras, but I brought it without a box and I threw it away.
