The laptop was received in like-new condition. Set-up was easy. I bought this laptop specifically to do my taxes (since I could not load non-work software onto my company PC) and as a back-up for when I could not use my work PC. I was able to load the tax software and submit my taxes successfully. I essentially used this laptop maybe a half dozen times. The PC was then put away in my desk shelves with no extremes in temp or vibration. 6 months later, when I needed this laptop it would not boot up. PXE-061 Media Test Failure = essentially the SSD hard drive failed, which was frustrating. I contacted customer support and they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Great seller! I took a chance and bought 2 at the same time baseed on the good reviews. Right off the bat I noticed how beautifully packaged and how clean the computer looked almost new. I knew right away it was money well spent. Set up was straight forward except that you would need a Microsoft account to get Pass the windows 10 set up. Everything worked then I noticed that the charger was getting unusually hot and so was the computer itself. I looked closely at the charger and noticed it was not an original Dell charger, it was an aftermarket 3rd party charger. I immediately knew this was the issue. Dell makes its products to meet specific standards and its accessories should never be compromised. Being that this was a refurbished I doubt the seller would have available Dell chargers. I just happened to have 20 of these Dell chargers in my Storage. I know it's Dell because it says Dell on it and it's really heavy and feels of high quality it also has a blue led light at the plug point. I swapped out the chargers and immediately banished the cheap charger that came with the laptop. The difference was immediate, no hot surface anywhere and the laptop charged nicely. In conclusion if you are going to invest in these laptops at these price points, it is strongly advised that you also invest in the original chargers that was made with the computer when Brand new. They are usually available at reasonable prices on eBay. Top notch computer for the price. I just saved myself almost $800 not buying a brand new computer. Great Product. ... show more

I bought this to use with my vinyl cutting machine but noticed it was fast, so I decided to try it on Visual studios that I use for programming(is a resource hog while running) it handled it with zero issues and better than my $800 old laptop. It’s very compact, feels heavy duty and I will be buying another for the kids to do homework. I will also play a few games on it and see how it handles them. Appearance: what can I say it looked brand new out of the box! Comes with Bluetooth as well. The only downside is the processor isn’t approved for windows 11 and it cannot be upgraded but honestly windows 10 is almost identical. ... show more

I rarely write reviews, let along bad reviews, often because I have good experiences with what I purchase and the seller. Not in this case. I purchased this laptop for my 12 year old (during virtual school era) to replace a very dated Chromebook. As you can see from the picture, the screen developed this warped section less than 2 months after the 3 month warranty expired. I reached out to the seller two times with no response, and finally through Amazon who reached out to the seller. Basically they pasted in the "here are the terms you purchased under" and told me it would be less expensive to get it fixed locally (as I'd pay for shipping and their repair work). I regret this purchase in all ways. The battery life had been problematic, but my son tolerated it. The screen glitch has made it unusable. I would not recommend buying from this seller.. I paid $150 less with a brand new ChromeBook and regret going this route and shouldering all of the risk. ... show more

I have had this laptop since 2019. It's been dropped down flights of stairs, dropped in puddles, abused by my son for at least 4 years, dropped from a bunk bed, the shell looks broken beyond even starting yet it still runs like a champ. Honestly, I didn't know how this poor thing hasn't caught fire yet... I'm looking at buying another one for school since this one is so beat up! I love this little computer! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The lapton when I go learns it turns off and is fully loaded I don't know if I can return it. To begin with, it was a gift that I had to bring to my country, Honduras, but I brought it without a box and I threw it away.
