    • Bad Quality...WAS NOT REFURBISHED. Hard Drive and Battery Failed within 3 months.
I've bought refurbished laptops in the past and had very good luck. However, this laptop from this particular vendor, Olive Computers, was a particularly BAD experience. First of all. The hard drive became corrupted and the computer would not boot up (registry errors) within 2 months. Originally the company only wanted to remove and re-load the Operating system. Which I have learned in the past is not a long term solution. So, I wanted a new hard drive pre-loaded with an OS to completely eliminate the problem long term. I was also promised support on retrieval on the data that was trapped in the old hard drive. Keep in mind I was going to have to perform the retrieval operation on a laptop allegedly UNDER WARRANTY. when I called back to get this support they tried to refuse and when I pushed back they got aggressive and very beligerant. This company is NOT professional at all. Finally I got the support that I was promised after repeated calls and e-mails and I was able to get my data. Then shortly thereafter...the BATTERY began failing and not holding a charge. This companies quality cannot be trusted. They did NO refurbishing on this laptop and the experience that I had proves it. Don't bother to buy from this vendor. ... show more

For the price it is stellar. Battery dies a little quick for multitasking. It's a laptop so I guess that's expected but don't be too far away from a charger. But you can not beat the price. Refurbished or not it looked brand new out of the box. 4/5 stars.

The charger is not compatible with the laptop. After that everything is correct. Great and it’s not 512GB memory it’s 256GB

    • Very nice convertible laptop at a great price
I got this Dell for my GF as a xmas present. We are both very happy with device so far and love to use as a laptop or tablet. The battery life is amazing. GF has loaded tons of photos and music on device and still has plenty of free space.

    • Laptop rejects all software
You describe your refurbished laptop as excellent. The laptop did not match the description. I received the laptop on Tuesday, Jan 7, 2025, because I was not in Terre Haute. I cannot install any software, including Microsoft Word, on the laptop. The laptop rejected all the software I attempted to install. I thought the challenges I was experiencing were due to my limitations in IT, and I decided to book an appointment with the Indiana State University IT department. The technician at the IT department experienced challenges similar to the ones I faced. I purchased a laptop specifically for school use, but you provided me with a machine that has no value and is entirely useless. When school reopens on Monday, what can I do, especially considering I have already registered for an online course? This course is 100% software-reliant; therefore, how can I pass the course? Enough storage (using it for high computing academic work that stores a lot of data), portable and good for attending meetings and conferences as it can work like a tablet.

Arrived in good shape, excellent packing and on time. However, when I started to set it up I found the keyboard was not consistently responsive. Some keys required 2-3 tries to get a response. That was a deal breaker for me, so I returned the laptop the next day. Return was easy and full refund given. So it was a safe gamble to try. ... show more
