The device was in excellent condition overall, with only 1 snsll visible mark on the top. The quad core i7 makes quick work of most performance requests. I did max out the RAM to 32 GB and get a 1TB drive, which made the laptop even better. The only complaint I might register is that the unit's operating system was not updated, and even though it was sold as used, I was not expecting (or wanting) to see previous owner apps or data on it. The reason I’m only giving 2 stars is the laptop advertised that I paid for wasn’t the laptop I received. The laptop advertised was a: Dell Latitude 5500 - Windows 11 Pro - Intel Core i7-8665U - 16GB RAM - 512 SSD The laptop I received was a: Dell Latitude 5500 - Windows 10 Pro - ** Intel Core i5-8365U - 16GB RAM - ** 1TB SSD The laptop was in excellent condition. No visible wear or scratches, very clean, all ports worked with no issues. It looks brand new. The laptop boots up very fast and is eligible for Windows 11 Pro upgrade. The laptop was very well packaged and arrived in a few days. There was no exchange option to receive the laptop I initially paid for, just a return and refund of my money. By that time, the original listed price I paid had increased. By no means getting more storage is an equal trade off than getting the i7. I decided to keep the laptop since the majority of refurbished laptop aren’t eligible for Windows 11, it was in brand new condition, compatible with Dell Thunderbolt Docking station which I use with my work laptop from home and I paid less then 20% of the original purchase price. I ordered this computer in 9/2023- the usb ports now don’t work. I took to IT to have it fixed and was told the motherboard is going out. Costs more to fix than it is worth. I have asked the seller and was told only 90 days warranty - too bad I had to give them even 1 star Learn from my mistake - buy somewhere else! ... show more
