This is my second Dell. I bought the other four years ago, and it survived a lot of abuse. I even spilled water on the keyboard of the last one, and it never stopped. I have never had problems with this Dell or the last. The only reason I had to buy a replacement is that the last one got knocked off of the table and the place where you plug it in was damaged. Yet, we kept rigging it up and it worked for months. I finally decided to get a new one when it became to difficult to keep charged due to the damage. The sound quality is amazing and so are the visuals. It is lightweight, so it is easy to carry around in a laptop bag. Finally, it is easy to setup and use. I am a loyal Dell customer now. Had to upgrade to Windows 11 and this laptop has all the features (plus many more) as my 10-year-old Dell Inspiron 3520, so it should work out fine. My only problem has been getting Microsoft to recognize my new email address and sync with my cellphone, but that's a separate issue. The laptop is a 'beaut'...so much faster and clearer than Windows 10, and a lot more user friendly. I was surprised to find that it doesn't have a removable battery (that's how old-school I am.) If this holds up as well as the 3520 I'll be very happy. ... show more

I really like this laptop. It's nice and light weight and works great. My only complaint is that the battery life is short. Just surfing the web and checking my email it seems to only last around 4 hours before I have to charge it again. I had been putting off purchasing a new LP because I try to get the most out of a purchase. My last LP was a 2020 hp and had became very slow and constantly closing on me. Terrible. After initial start up and getting everything downloaded the CPU is running at 85% on idle most likely because of windows 11. After 10 minutes of use the display because washed out and visually distorted. Then it got stuck in a restart loop to try to update a specific driver that it couldn’t update. I’ve had it for two hours and I’m returning it. If you’re going to get a laptop don’t try to skimp like I did. Get core i5 10400 or better. PS startup time is super slow and so is trying to click on any application or do anything. ... show more
