Avoid the same mistake me and Steve Darnell did, I initially thought this was a pretty nice laptop with good specs but there appears to be issues with solid state drives and apparently hard drives as well. It appears there is something wrong with the hardware. My computer spontaneously stopped booting on two occasions, one of which was in the middle of while I was using it. In both cases my computer refused to even see the C drive and thus would not boot windows. It spontaneously fixed itself the first time and on the second time, I can see everything by using bootable USB of windows, but for some reason the computer will still refuse to see the drive when I remove my bootable USB and accessed the same drive just a minute earlier. After all my time working with computers this is a new one on me and this entire ordeal is very confusing and now frustrating as I have to go through the process of warranty or returns to even get my 800 dollars worth out of this computer. Profoundly disappointing coming from what I normally consider a trusted company. Steer clear of this product. ... show more

The pc is fast and great to use. The visuals are clear and I love the size. I am not in love with the keyboard. I felt that the "mouse" section is a little hard to use and the keyboard, itself, takes time to get use to.

I'm so disappointed with myself for buying this. I've had this laptop less than a year, and from the very start, the charger cord won't stay connected to the charging port. I've tried replacing the cord, doesn't help. I've talked with Dell Tech Support and there's nowhere local that I can take my computer to have it fixed. I would have to mail it to a Dell location, with a 10 business day turnaround and some random stranger having access to all of my personal info that's on my computer. Risky. I am very happy with this laptop! This would probably not be a great gaming machine, but I don't use it for that. It setup easily, and I now have Windows 11 installed. Not tasking the system resources very hard, even when pushing it pretty hard with multiple apps running. I'm definitely what you would call a power user, and have been using computers for over 40 years, but the setup was smooth, and Cortana helps talk you through it if you need. Arrived in 24 hours! I didn't give it a 5 because it is hard to get a perfect score from me, but 4.75 would be my likely choice. ... show more
