Overall I actually really like this laptop. I bought it for my employee and it works well enough for her to do all her normal work on the internet/some desktop software. She has never had any issues while using it for her everyday tasks. But I have tried to use it myself several times for zoom calls and other video call services and it crashes every time. First the microphone will break and it says it can't even find the microphone that is inside the laptop, and then the call crashes entirely and it takes forever to reopen zoom or I just need to restart the computer. So it is a decent laptop if you are shopping in this price range and are just using it for general work or school homework, but if you do a lot of video calls for work I don't think this is the laptop for you. ... show more

We bought this and this spring the top of computer separated so we have to put something behind it to keep it open so it does not lay flat. We have not used it that often. Was very surprised that this happened as Dell products are usually pretty good. Would not suggest buying this. Maybe we just got a dud! ... show more

    • Dell Quality is WAY DOWN

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointing. First, it shipped with the wrong power adapter (45W instead of 65W). The seller was awesome and got me the right one right away. Dell made the mistake, not the seller. The computer itself is disappointing. The screen quality is way down from the basic Dell laptop I bought 3 years ago. You can see every pixel (check out the video I'm posting). Also, the plastic flexes a lot, feeling very flimsy. I do not have any confidence that this will hold up to just using it daily to surf the web and do some some writing. And every minute I do that I will be annoyed because the screen really is that bad. Also, they took away the DVD player and the touch screen functionality. All this reduced quality for only $100 extra dollars! It looks like Dell is going the way of HP, wringing one more purchase out of a loyal customer and letting them down, choosing profit today over ongoing business for a lifetime. ... show more
