This laptop is amazing bang-for-the-buck. Pros -Pretty lightweight -Small powerbrick (for those that travel a lot, this is important) -Nice display (great brightness) -Number pad - I require a number pad on my laptops, and this one is very nice, particularly for a 15.6" laptop. No complaints about keys being to close together. -Love the design of it (it's not ugly/unappealing). Cons -Only 3 USB ports - If you aren't using a docking station, this can be annoying. It's easily resolvable with a USB hub, but, just feels like there should be at least 4 USB ports on every laptop anymore. -Not the greatest video card. For all the other great specs this system has, don't expect to be able to play modern games on this guy. I didn't buy it for gaming, but tried to install a game from my Xbox Anywhere collection (Forza Horizon 3), and while every other spec is at or above recommendations, the video card's low memory makes it so the game won't even try to run. To be clear, this will be just fine for anyone doing business or even watching movies, just don't expect to play games on it. Neither Good Nor Bad -The light-up keyboard - I can't decide if I like the light-up keyboard or not. I'd like to be able to change the brightness at the very least. ... show more

Love this computer. Easy initial set up. It's fast fast fast (a lot faster than my old computer). The backlit keyboard is nice. Nice design. I am very happy. Just to clear up any confusing reviews, this does NOT have a touchscreen, but it's not supposed to.

I think I had bad luck. after I got this laptop, in about 6 months, it can't start up. since it is still in warranty, so shipped it back for repair. and was told the motherboard is broken and changed a new one. after that, the machine became slow, slow than my other much older dell laptops. then sometime later, it can't start up again, and returned to dell for check up, they said the power adapter not working, and changed a new adapter, and still has same issue sometimes, and technician were sent to my place several times. I asked if I can switch a new one, since I think the one I bought has too much issues and cause so many inconvenience, they said no, can only repair. now the laptop is still usable, but too slow and I prefer to use my old laptops. Dell support is very nice, but I am very disappointed with this Dell laptop. ... show more

I am not totally pleased with the service and the product itsel I needed the laptop in a specific time frame so i ordered it here with two days shipping, however, that two days turned into almost a week before it was shipped. that was the first disappointment. Secondly i was expecting to get a license Microsoft office suite with the laptop but i didn't.(for that ill give and take) However, what disappoint me most was the fact that about three days after getting the Laptop it started giving me trouble. It started to show this message at the start up screen, "Boot Guard Verified DXEthat is fail, etc" and right there and then the Laptop would shut down. I could not get to do any work on it. I restarted it a few times and it would come on, but about two more days after that the message came back up and i could not get it to start. Besides that though, the keyboard and the screens seems a little fimsy as well. Was really expecting more. ... show more
