I purchased this laptop for it's 2-in-1 capabilities, as well as the dell active pen. The touchscreen plus pen were flawless. They wrote effortlessly and smoothly, and had little to no lag or offset that I could notice. The weight is a little heavy, but if you're coming from a larger and heavier laptop like I was, the weight is no problem. It's very sleek, and doesn't heat up very hot. The fan is quiet. The display had a great viewing angle. When flipped into a tablet, the virtual keyboard is very easy to use. However, if you wish to use it at an angle, the screen does not lock in place and something has to be placed behind the screen to prop it up. Not really a problem, and it's easy to adjust on your own. However, the laptop has one drawback that made me return it. If you're planning on using your laptop for color sensitive work, absolutely do not pick this one. The color display runs very warm and isn't very bright. According to the spectrum of colors that is widely used on the internet, the sRGB profile, this laptop has less than 50% of the color display capabilities that most other devices you will find, including most phones and laptops. The leading sRGB color display range is usually 80-97% so the limited range of this laptop, as well as the screen brightness is definitely a drawback. However that said, I owned the laptop for a week and a half before I noticed the discrepancy in colors. It's perfectly find for anyone that doesn't do color sensitive work. If I hadn't been working with art and viewing my work on several different screens, I would not have noticed anything off with the color display. And as it was, I spent a week drawing without noticing a thing. If I had to describe the problem, it was like wearing a pair of slightly yellow tinted glasses. While you have them on everything looks normal, but if you look at the screen of your phone and take the glasses off, the colors definitely are skewed. The battery life is excellent, not quite what is advertised, but that's just what you get when laptop shopping. The screen is quite glossy, so fingerprints show up obviously on the screen and it should be cleaned frequently with probably a microfiber cloth that won't scratch or smear. ... show more

This laptop has an incredibly beautiful 1080p display. I shall say it's pretty bright enough. My favorite feature that I love the is backlight keyboard and fingerprint sensor. both of these features work pretty well as advertised. Now with the cons about this product and most other products is the battery life is mediocre, not bad but it can be a tad bit better for the price we pay for. Another con is that it comes with a standard power supply and not a USB-type one. This laptop worked great for about 4 months - then the webcam died. After I spent hours troubleshooting myself and on the phone with Dell, they determined that it needed to be replaced. In order to do that under their warranty, they required that I mail the laptop to them. They promised to return it 7-10 days later. I don't know who can be without their computer for 7-10 days in 2021, but I need mine for work and don't have 10 days of vacation time to burn while I wait for them to fix my webcam. Probably a good computer but cannot set up windows without creating an account, contara will not let you, usually you can get around the create user during set up but not on this, to make it worse it does not have a network adapter only wireless. Now its past the return window and I am stuck with this piece of crap and you think you are ever going to talk to someone at Amazon ??? My advice is buy your computers from a retailer, Amazon doesn't care about you after the sale. ... show more

I bought this computer in July 2021, but less than a year later, this computer can only be turned on for 2 minutes, and then the screen goes black. I can't backup anything I have on my computer because it doesn't give you time to do anything. One year is not enough, it has become unusable.
