I am not a professional gamer but I needed a laptop for work since I travel and wanted to have the ability to still play some games here and there. So far it has done everything I need it to. Great performance while working and so far great performance while playing dead by daylight, sims 4, and genshin impact. Battery isn’t the greatest but can’t expect to game while on battery alone. Screen quality is pretty great for me as well as sound. I do like it has usb type c for charging my phone since everyone is starting to go away with traditional usb. PLEASE NOTE: the keyboard backlight is only available in the redish orange color not multi color RGB!!! This is not a setback for me but it may be for others. Windows 11 installed with no issues either and I am planning on upgrading the ram and adding more storage in the future. Like any new electronic just plug it into its charger and let the battery charge for a good 30 min before starting to get into the updating! Another note to consider is this laptop automatically turns on when you open the lid from a full shut down. Not a let down but it may be for others. ... show more

After a little over a month of working fine the laptop completely stopped working. It wouldn't power up at all, and after a conversation with Dell tech support I am having to send it to them to get it repaired. It sounds like they're going to have to replace the motherboard. I'll update this review once I hear what they have to say, but I wanted to vent my frustration and post a warning now. I gotta say, I am pretty shocked that a brand new (not inexpensive) machine would completely fail to function after so short a period of time. I have not damaged it or dropped it in any way, in fact it's barely moved as I keep it at home as my gaming machine. For comparison, my older laptop, over 4 years old, has never failed to power on and boot up, I havn't needed any technical support for it at all. Luckily I have a 1 year warranty on this laptop, but I am now very concerned about what is going to happen when it runs out. If I already have such a major problem with it after a month, what else am I going to have to deal with later on??? ***Update*** I realized that this falls under Amazon's return policy so I decided to forego sending it to Dell for repairs and getting it completely replaced instead. I am hoping this malfunction was just a random one-off, because the machine worked fine until it stopped working completely. ... show more

Even though this machine doesn't have a touchscreen, I love it. It has been extremely fast and responsive and has a lot of power behind it. I would highly recommend it to anyone that asks. Battery drains in one and half hour even in sleep or hibernate mode. The laptop don't charge or start after full drain unless battery is removed and reconnected. It gets too hot. Not recommended.
