    • Great little PC
This was a nice little PC. The inside was so clean, even the cpu fan was very clean. Good job. The power adapter was original but was very dirty and dusty. Who cares - it worked and was original. I have an older model already that was an i5-6500T while this one is an i5-9500T. I'm a Windows and a Linux user. My goal was to put Linux on the older model of mine and put Windows 11 on this newer one. Going from a 6500T to a 9500T was not a dramatic speed increase but it was enough to notice a difference so still worth it I suppose. It came with Windows 10 Pro which is very nice (yes it was activated) but I installed Windows 11 Pro instead. Easy Peasy. This unit has TPM 2.0 which supports Win11. The 1TB SSD that it came with is a 3.5" SATA SSD. I swapped this out for an M.2 NVME SSD The RAM was a mismatch at 2133Mhz speed. I swapped this out for 2666Mhz matching ram that I had on-hand. It came with built-in Wifi just missing the antenna which I have from another unit but I'm a Ethernet LAN guy. It came with an extra DisplayPort. So it has 1-HDMI and 2-DP ports. Can support up to 3 monitors. Awesome. Some notes: It runs Windows 11 just fine. It runs Linux just fine too. I've used Ubuntu, Fedora 39 (Gnome and KDE flavors), Linux Mint. Lastly: I really enjoy these Dell Small Form Factor PCs. I've used these at the office, home and I see them installed at banks and other places. They work very well. It beats buying a new PC with a dumbed down Celeron on it. Don't ever get a Celeron anything. They are all slow and junk for single tasks. These older machines are cheaper and will run world's faster than any new Celeron. Remember, web browsers still need cpu power and a good amount of ram to not be laggy.
