We have a tricky spot for our front porch light that requires a very slim light. This light was the slimmest I could find that was rated for outdoor. Super easy and quick install and it gives off quite a bit of light. I knocked off 1 star as the width is shown as 1.77 inches but after it's mounted it's closer to 2.35 inches. Certainly not a major deal-breaker kind of thing but worth mentioning for future buyers who need a light as slim as possible in a tight area. ... show more

This light is an inexpensive way to get wired light in your space. It's an all plastic body, so don't expect anything fancy. It does NOT sit flush to the mounting surface - it will sit about 1/4" away from the wall/ceiling, because the mounting ring is raised. If you want flush look elsewhere. It looks cheap close up and is - it's all plastic. Probably $0.50 to make but it does the job. Note about another review complaining about it not having a ground wire. There is no need for one - this unit is all plastic - a ground is not going to have anything TO ground. Two wires is all it needs, and it is 100% safe as such. ... show more
