Slim fit - runs on the small side as expected

I was a little unsure about what size to order. I'm 5'9" about 185 pounds and I typically wear 16-16 1/2" collar regular fit - 33/34" sleeves can be a little long on me. Since this shirt was slim cut I ordered an XL -which should be a 17-17 1/2. This shirt fit me like it was tailored for me - perfect sleeve length; just enough room through the body, shoulders and arms to move without being too tight or too loose. The fabric is primarily synthetic and has a very soft silky feel with a little stretch. I was a little cautious ironing and didn't use the highest heat setting - afraid I might burn or melt the shirt. If you're looking for a stiffer/starchy material - this isn't it. Bottom line - I love the shirt, but would definitely recommend ordering a size up - if you have a thick waist you're better off to find a regular cut instead of slim cut. ... show more
