  • Beautiful nicely sized crystals! Great value!
Weight: 2.0 Pounds
Nice good sized stones and bright, colorful variety! Great value for the money! There seemed to be some slight damage (3-4 chipped stones) from shipping and handling during the transport process. The stones were packaged in a plastic bag, placed inside a padded paper bag, placed inside a padded Amazon shipping bag. When opened, some stones were loose inside the bigger Amazon bag. Inside, the side of the paper bag and the end of the inner plastic bag had been blown out, as though something heavy had been placed on top of the package during transport, causing the inner bags to burst, which was likely the cause of the damage to the 3 or 4 crystals. I ordered a large enough lot that I'm sure I have several other clean stones just like the ones that were damaged, so no biggie, but the seller may want to consider shipping something as fragile as stones in a similar protective wrapping inside a box. This seller has a huge variety of stone and crystal products and all that I have ordered from them have been of superb quality. Would highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great beautiful purchase
Weight: 2.0 Pounds
Beautiful polished stones of a good size. Gorgeous colors, and a nice amount of stones. My grown son immediately "adopted" a few because they are so pretty :) I am using these stones for an interactive art project at church...showing samples of God's creation, in a handmade clay bowl. I just have to share their beauty! A descriptive brochure is included, but I would suggest adding a country of origin, which would make it even more interesting. Congratulations to this fine, fair vendor. ... show more

  • Purchase was as expected!
Weight: 2.0 Pounds
I have ordered from this company before, and I am not disappointed. The only thing I wish could improve is the quality of the Labradorite pieces. Other than that, I received beautiful stones.

  • So far so good but they should update the guide book
The media could not be loaded. A pattern I’ve seen is that they like to put a lot of red jasper in these orders which is okay I guess but I wish there was more variety like more lapis and rose quartz or other stones but overall my favourite place to get stones from

  • Nice stones, a few brighter colors needed!
Weight: 2.0 Pounds
I tried really, really hard to like these stones. I pored over images, reference charts (including that of the supplier's) and books trying to identify them and have only been successful with a few. Apart from one single clear quartz and a tiny fluorite, the colors are pale, (barely discernable), unremarkable and uninspiring. I feel no energy from them, more like polished pebbles. Unfortunately, the process to return them is way too tedious because of where I ordered from so I guess I'll have to write it off as a loss. Update: I upgraded my rating from one star to three. I had given up (which is not typically my style), and which signaled to me that maybe I should change the way I approached the situation, and examine what I disliked about them. I got some rest, then separated the stones I had already identified. I then sorted them by color despite the fact that they were mostly muted brown, greys and greens and dark reds - my least favorite colors! I then further sorted by shade, then patterning, and saw that I had in fact received an extremely wide variety of stones! It's now far easier for me to identify them using the resources I had, and since I usually welcome a little growth, I am allowing myself to appreciate the change of perspective regarding the colors. I wavered between three and four stars owing to the variety but gave three because of the overall dullness of the stones. Thanks to Sandy of Dancing Bear who gave me a start toward identifying them. I took off the star because I have a passion for color and vibrant tones and Dancing Bear should toss in a few more oranges and yellows and bright purples to balance it out somewhat and make things a little bit more interesting! ... show more

  • Detailed review - Not sponsored (but totally willing!)
I spent many hours looking for the right place on Amazon to buy bulk tumbled stones from. Since Dancing Bear had some phenomenal reviews and photos, I ended up buying from them - and I'm SO glad I did. They arrived in a bubble wrapped packaging envelope, with a smaller package inside containing a ziploc bag of the stones, the booklet, and the ID leaflet. My sister and I spent hours identifying, sorting, trading, and counting the stones. There were about 114 that we split between the two of us in the one pound lot. There was a pretty great variety of stones but in this lot we definitely got a large amount of red jasper and walnut jasper. (Walnut jasper turned out to be one of her favorites, and I was lacking red jasper in my collection so this wasnt necessary a negative.) We recieved a lot of adventurine too, which I love. There were a few really gorgeous stones that stood out. 4 or 5 were cracked or had rough edges, which my sister quickly claimed. I found 2 perfect circular stones - onyx and lapis lazuli. There were several flat oval shaped specimens and some triangular ones. Most of the stones were roughly 1/2 and inch or smaller but about 20 or so were an inch or more. I was really happy with the sizes and variety in shapes. Overall, I'm more than thrilled with my purchase. I cant wait for my next order and I cannot recommend Dancing Bear enough. For anybody curious about what stones to expect, here are just some of the types of stones I recieved: Amethyst, red jasper, desert jasper, walnut jasper, adventurine, quartz, rose quartz, lapis lazuli, onyx, moonstone, white jade, leopard skin jasper, tigers eye, and more! ... show more
