This is perfect. Overall simple design, less stuff to break, battery lasting plenty, sand proof, simple to drive but still a real RC experience. A+++ Bought for an enthusiastic 4 year old, so it needed to be above all, rugged. This thing has been taking hits for many many sessions and shows no damage at all. AWESOME. The thing needs to be relatively simple to drive but not crippled like traditional cheap rc’s. Well once again the DeeRc monster truck shines. The pistol grip radio gives my boy a chance to get familiar and comfortable with this type of controller and it steers and goes f/r as you would expect. Only one speed, and the turning is skid steer style so not so precise, but it works and gives the “real RC” experience to the younguns. The battery life has been great. We drove it for over an hour on the beach on a single charge. Really unbelieveable. The key with lithium’s is not letting them get down to zero apparently. Hopefully the battery lasts a few months. No grinding gears or damage from the beach session!!!!!! I’m sold! All for $40!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We love this monster truck. Great speed, easy to control ( my 3 year old has it down pat) we haven't used it long enough for a battery review but we've played with it for 30 mins straight. The only thing I don't like is it gets stuck when it flips over and you have to go turn it over. Other than that it's a great product.... update battery didn't last but 30 mins ... show more

I got this car for my kids. I spent a lot of time researching different cars and reading reviews. We live in a rural area and have no paved areas to drive these cars. It is all grass, mud, rocks and gravel. This car goes over almost everything! Honestly, this car is great. It does really well over everything. It even tries to climb the walls if you drive it in the house. It does have difficulty over some obstacles but those are usually obstacles that are very large (larger than the car). It does in fact have a metal body and some decent shocks! It comes with two batteries that are rechargeable by usb plug in (also has an attachment for that. ... show more

My battery burnt out in 2 minutes. I read the directions and the battery warning are waaaayy too picky for a child’s toy. I hate trying to fit the battery into the compartment. It not as fast and I don’t like the controller. I returned the RC immediately.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this remote control truck for my grandson for Christmas. It’s a very sturdy truck and easy to use. I love that it has a lot of torque, so it can go over obstacles, and easily goes up hills.
