Description

Unlike other brands of epoxy resin who will yellow over time, our epoxy resin products contains UV Inhibitors which helps to resist yellowing. Being one of the first company to offer epoxy resin used for artistic applications we had many years of expertise to develop the strongest products for our fellow artists. After receiving many feedback, we took action to develop an extremely resistant epoxy resin which is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, water-resistant and heat-resistant. Our products are Made in USA and Canada. We only use the finest raw materials to offer the best quality to our customers. This means you can enjoy a No VOCS product which is food safe once fully cured. Having a clear, hard and shiny end project result is always desired when working with epoxy resin and that's what you can expect with our epoxy resin products! Our Deep Pour & Casting resin is the perfect product for your river table project. Mix our epoxy resin with any color to create your dream table! Being low-viscosity, the resin is able to penetrate and fill even the smallest gaps and cavities. Thus, it makes the perfect epoxy to create casting projects where you want to preserve objects with the clearest result possible. Any deep pour project that you think of can be achieved with our Deep Pour & Casting epoxy resin. It cures to a crystal clear appearance or can be tinted with our powdered or paste pigment colorants. Being a low-viscosity epoxy resin made especially for deeper pours, you can expect your project to be bubble-free and clearer than any other epoxy resin on the market. Into a mixing cup, pour twice the amount of resin (A) for each measurement of hardener (B) (2:1 ratio). Ex.: 500ml of resin (A) with 250ml of hardener (B). If you measure by weight (g), use mixing ratio 100A:45B. Ex.: 300g (A)with 135g (B) Stir both parts together for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to scrap the sides while stirring. Once done, you have up to 6 hours of working time. Make sure that your project is leveled and pour the resin on it. DO NOT scrap the resin out of the container, just dump it and leave the remaining material in the container. Tip: 15 minutes after pouring, you can quickly pass a blow torch a few inches over the resin to pop all the extra air bubbles. Your project will be tack-free after 2 days and cured in 3 days. This curing time helps to release as many air bubbles as possible, and allows for deeper pours. If you need to do an additional pour, you can do do so between 18 to 28 hours after the last pour. If you wait longer than that, you will need to sand your project with some 180 or 220 grit sandpaper.

We have been using this epoxy resin for almost a year in our shop! It doesn't smell, it's easy to use, no bubbles, and the curing time it's perfect (it will take couple of days because it's deep pour epoxy). And the value for the money it's just great, especially when it comes to epoxy resin!

This product was by far the best all around product that I've used since starting my venture into the epoxy world. I've tried several different brands and by far this is the best product that I've used I was able to pour 4 in without any bubbles and it hardened hard enough to take it out of the mold and move it after 4 days. I'm actually trying to buy some right now and decided to write this review while I was here on this tab. It says that they're all out ,while it's no doubt why...     • Cures a little slow
As a professional woodworker I’ve used just about every brand of epoxy on the market. This one is a really good deal for the price. The consistency is nice, easy to stir, not a lot of bubbles. My only gripe would be a very slow curing time. I’m used to 2-3 days. It’s been 3 and a half days and it’s still too pliable to plane. Hopefully it will be cured by tomorrow. ... show more

I used this epoxy to fill knot holes in a 2 inch live edge slab that I made into a bench. This epoxy functions exactly as specified and took 3 days to harden to the touch and it was 7 days before I started finishing. Read the specifications read the directions.     • Crack and takes forever to harden
I have been working with epoxies for over 12 years and have had my share of mistakes, which most were my fault. In this case, I can say that I have enough experience to know when a product is just not cutting it. I poured two cylinder molds, both 8" wide and 14" tall and about half of the space taken up with wood. Both 3" pours and went into a pressure pot for curing. The fist one cracked in three places and even had bubbles after 7 hrs in the pot. The second took over 9.5 hours to set, and it also had bubbles. I know deep pour takes longer to set, but this is ridiculous. And there should not be any bubbles, especially when using a pressure pot. Im not even going to bother trying to salvage these or attempt another layer. This is what you get when you try to save a little money. Very dissatisfied and will return. ... show more
