This blade works just as well as any of the original blades I have used with my cricut machine - for regular vinyl or card stock. I am just a beginner user, so I can't say if my less than stellar results with faux leather are because of my own user error or the product. I bought this blade to cut glitter faux leather, and was unable to get it to cut all the way through the material. It installed very easily and moved through the cutting motions without a hitch, but just didn't go all the way through. I do believe I'm probably doing something wrong, as many others have said the blades worked fine for them.

I like to keep extra blades on hand just in case I need one in the middle of a project. This one works just as well as the name brand blade. I did a test cut on a magnetic sheet using all the same settings that I always use and it cut perfectly. I'm very glad I got this one.

I feel like relatively technologically competent, I've followed instructions and everything to get this new blade to calibrate with my machine but I cannot get it to work at all. I've followed the instructions on my cricut step by step but this blade seems to be too big, giving all the cuts a bit of a "bubble letter' effect

I purchased this cutting tool mainly for leatherwork. It fits perfectly with our Cricut Maker and is much cheaper compared to the brand-name options. The tool works just as well as the originals and produces crisp and clean cuts, even in leather. It is quite durable and lasts as long as the brand-name ones. I was given a Cricut Maker for the holidays last year and I am finally getting around to playing with my new cutting blades. I got some basswood sheets that said they were 1.5mm thick and they ended up being closer to 2 mm. So the blade didn't cut all the way through - which honestly was a material problem not the blade. The blade fit easily into the B socket. In looks, it is exactly like the picture and exactly like the Cricut one. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to do wood, chipboard, leather, or any other thick material!!
