It can "hold" liquids in the upright position just fine, but don't shake or tilt it with the lid closed because whatever is inside will leak through the spout unhindered. Lemonade, iced tea, koolaid, etc; are a no go unless you plan to stir with a spoon. But ff you plan to pour the entirety of whatever is inside in one go, you could do worse than this jug. When I unscrewed the lid on these to wash them, the spout flap was broken from the lid on both bottles. Because of this the lids do not close securely. I need the lids to work so these are worthless.

First thing I did was fill it with water and soap and when I turned it upside down it leaked like a sieve. There is no rubber seal around the screw lid so there you go. Also the snap flap on the lid seems like it won't take too many times before it breaks off. I can also see flaws in the plastic making it look cheap. It is functional but I am not impressed. The media could not be loaded. I bought 4 and out of them three do not snap close, one came dented and another has a small dent. Looking at it closely some of them on the plastic had like bubble in it and it’s thin, you can squeeze it. The simply juice bottles are thicker. Too bad I didn’t check them until after I took the labels off, so not sure if I can return them. I couldn’t use them after all and found some elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend if it’s for something you wouldn’t mind keeping for a while. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have never hated a product so much in life. And I never thought I’d feel compelled to leave a review on some cheap plastic bottles but I am so passionate about hating these and soo mad that I purchased them I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake as me. If my strong statement was not enough, please stick around for story time. And at the risk of sounding like a “Karen” here I go! In short. The good: they hold liquid. The Bad: if you order more than one the product is not consistent and they most likely will not look the same. (I bought 4 packages so 8 bottles in total. 2/8 have a visibly different top). The Ugly: the worst part…the stickers placed on them do not come off. Seeing as these types of bottles are typically purchase for aesthetic purposes this is a huge downfall. I spent hours on these. In Closing: Just avoid if you’re buying these for aesthetic purposes. The long story… You may ask if my hate for this product is sooo strong why I didn’t return these…and that’s a great question. Please learn from my mistakes! I’m very type A personality and like things labeled, uniform, and aesthetically pleasing. When I got these I immediately got to work and filled them with my laundry detergent. I Excited to have the manufacture bottles gone! Silly me didn’t attempt to peel the stickers off before filling them. The time I spent trying to pull these off is completely unacceptable (I’m not rookie and removing labels). I tried everything. No adhesive remover works because there is a “film” over the sticker that has to be peeled off before you can actually get to the paper sticker (see photo). This “film” doesn’t come off in one piece. This took a lot of time and patience to get off. Once that film of off I soaked it in warm water and peeled the paper sticker off. While this works with most products….NOT THIS ONE. We still are not done! The glue this is made out of is absolutely insane. I tried alcohol, goo gone, hot water, scrapping, and vinegar…they all failed. Bless my friends heart who cared so much for my sanity, they recommended using WD 40 which worked great with some elbow grease. Please keep in mind…I HAVE 8 BOTTLES to repeat this process with. I did notice that 2/8 bottles I had the sticker simply peeled off with no effort and no residue left behind. I found this very interesting. Looking closer, I now realize that not only is the sticker make out of different material the lid on the bottle is different!!! Now my type A personality is triggered further because I did this soo all my laundry bottles looked the same and after all this work they are not the same. Minor difference, but not the same (see pulled back photo of bottles lined up). Also, If you were maybe thinking the company took everyone’s feedback about these stickers into consideration and changed the adhesive…the “other” version with the easy to remove sticker has a terrible flaw. See video, when you pour the bottle the lid falls down on the liquid. At this point I’ve invested a significant amount of time removing the stickers and adhesive as well as money for labeling the bottles and was unable to achieve the end goal due to the inconsistency of this company.     • Manufacturer could have avoided sticking label directly on product

Purchased these to streamline our refrigerator, eliminate plastic single use waste and use to make juice from concentrate. They look great and fit in the door of my refrigerator perfectly but the top leaks and the plastic is a bit cheap and flimsy as another reviewer mentioned. The bottles came tightly wrapped in a plastic and then each carafe had a label affixed to each of them and it was nearly impossible to remove, leaving a nasty film on each of the carafe. Even using Goo Gone it left a sticky residue which causes everything in the vicinity of the carafe to stick to the bottle even after being put through the dishwasher a couple of times. I will never understand why manufacturers affix a sticky, sticky label directly to a product that is a pain to remove when then wrap it with plastic. Sure, I understand branding but they can just as easily put the label of the plastic shrink wrap. I really liked the option of having a black lid and affixing a black label, but with the sticky sides, leaking and the fact that it will likely not hold up, I am probably going to take the loss and look for a couple of glass carafes to replace these after only owning them for a couple of weeks. ... show more
