I purchased these vents to replace the factory ones in my home. My mom purchased varies colors first and I was impressed with the look. No assembly required. I do wish I had a way to secure them down for two reasons. One, my daughter has discovered a new place to put her little toys (ugh) and when they are closed and my air is running, they want to rattle and not stay in place. I’m planning on securing them in the very near future. They are easy to open and close unlike traditional vents. They give my home a more neat and stylish look. These have a nice finish. I didn't give it 5 stars because the vent closure sticks up a little too high and is easy to inadvertently close. It needs more friction.
