The game is great, but frustrating because you can't do everything you want. You can't check the mall or the zombie details because the time limit of each case or scoop is tight. The graphics are very realistic, especially when you fight psychos. A movie about the game history would have been awesome because the game plays like that.     • Just what the DRDR ordered!
Dead Rising's "DRDR" does exactly what it sets out to do, bring the classic back to a modern audience with a number of improvements, most of all in the graphics department. There are some curious changes here that the core fans have rightly flagged, but they're honestly not enough to muddy what was Capcom's finest departure from their Resident Evil series. DRDR is wild, often goofy AF, and offers some really fantastic gameplay that keeps it fresh, even as we get near its 20th anniversary. I bought it on sale for $20, and while I'd have gladly paid more, that price made this a no-brainer. Hop on, take on hoards of zombies with a chair or vending machine, and save some innocent yet often annoying survivors...or watch them die in the process. Good times! ... show more

It's Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. If you want to try Dead Rising 1 with more powerful technology used or if you want an enhanced remaster akin to Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion for Dead Rising, this is the Dead Rising game for you. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster 2 again should have both its physical and digital releases at the same time. I rate 5 stars being the game is just Dead Rising 1 with more graphical fluidity and QOL improvements that do not detract from the game not feeling like a Dead Rising game. ... show more

I grew up watching my dad play this game for the Wii back in the early 2000's, playing now as an adult on my PS5 is a joy and much better than playing on the Wii looks in my memory.
