- Installation of the Boat2Trailer automatic boat latch is very simple. This boat latch is designed to be a bow roller replacement, therefore it is a one bolt installation. You can simply remove your bow roller from your boat trailer and install our Ramp N Clamp Boat2Trailer automatic boat latch in its place. The installation takes roughly 10 minutes. Be sure to use roughly 22 - 26 ft lbs pressure on the insall bolt (snug). This way your latch can still pivot when needed at steeper landings.

This is one of the best things I could have bought for my boat. I have a 23ft sea ray 230 sundancer. That's a big heavy boat. Getting the boat onto or off the roller trailer before this used to be a bit of a pain. This makes the process a snap. Back in the water, pull a string I tied to the handle and she's out. Drive the boat onto the trailer and listen to it auto lock. Super simple and easy and I don't have to get my feet wet. Awesome buy, highly recommended.

I was hesitant to purchase this just due to the fact that I was not sure if it would work with my deck boat. I had visited their website for fitment details but was unsure due to the overhang of the front deck if there was room for it to work. But, I’m glad that I took a chance. This thing is extremely well built. Instructions are well laid out. Includes all the hardware required to mount it to the trailer. I didn’t realize until after I installed it that they offer anti-theft locks for it at an additional cost of course. I wish the optional extended release rope was included but again, offered at an additional cost. While I haven’t launched or retrieved my boat with it yet, it seems as though it will work just fine. I will update with any issues.

the delivery was quick and arrived in good condition. The quality appears to be very nice, looking at the construction. I have not installed these yet and will not for a couple of weeks, but if they work as well as they look I will be very pleased.
