This is a good option for those of us who are on a budget. keep in mind this is non-ECC, meaning it can not correct errors which will eventually kill RAM, but its much cheaper and will run faster then ECC. It usually takes years for non-ECC Ram card(s) to become problematic so it isn't a major concern. I 've used non-ECC for years:) ... show more

    • Pleasantly surprised to find Samsung chips as basis for this Gigastone RAM.
This is Gigastone RAM, so you are never sure exactly which manufacturer the chips will come from, but in this case it was Samsung. So far it performs well. Install was smooth and had no issues. 32GB provides excellent memory capacity and a good upgrade from 16GB. Replacing a matched pair improves stability and the cost was acceptable given the current RAM environment. No compatibility issues noted. ... show more
