I received this Portable Bluetooth Speaker by dbsono in purple as a free product from the Vine program, and absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, so did my adult daughter, so I had to purchase this one for her in red. And now that my adult son fell in love with hers, his is on the way. THAT's how awesome these bluetooth speakers really are - when a person who receives them for free is then willing to pay money to purchase them again ... that should tell you something. My video doesn't do the audio quality justice, as it is impressively sharp and clear. Each speaker has been incredibly simple to connect, and their compact size makes them easily portable. Of course, we all loved the lighting function and the customizable options for each of our preferred level of ambiance. And the coolest part is that we can sync all of them together - including all of the other dbsono speakers that I have previously purchased - to wake up the neighborhood. Overall, I'm obviously highly impressed with the sound quality, convenience, aesthetics, and general construction of this Bluetooth speaker. What started out as free products needing testing for review has turned into a loyal customer who consistently comes back to purchase the products that I fall in love with as gifts for others. I believe that says enough about the combination of both quality and affordability with every dbsono product that I own, but particularly with this speaker. We all love it, but I'm going to stop showing it off to people because I can't afford to purchase any more.

This rather heavy bluetooth speaker can pump out music quite loudly and can easily fill a room or a medium sized back yard. We’ve been using it on our deck and its great to have a speaker that doesn’t have to be plugged in while still not being tiny and small that the music sounds bad. Music sounds warm and I can hear the highs and lows just fine. I don’t know how to verify that its pumping out 60 watts but the speaker size seems big enough and the music can get loud enough that I don’t doubt it. There is a neat carry handle that is soft and easy to hold. This makes it easy to carry the speaker from one location to another. There is also some feature to link multiple bluetooth speakers together but I haven’t tried doing it as honestly, one of these speakers is enough for people to hear the music. Theoretically you can daisy chain this speaker to another bluetooth speaker and you should be able to have good coverage for the space. If you do want to go that route, I’d suggest sticking with one brand for the daisy chain. One thing to keep in mind is that it doesn’t play music when plugged in. It has to be unplugged for it to play music. I did notice a slight whine if I put my ears close to it when its plugged into power. Nothing to be concerned about but something I noticed. Overall, this is a big, and hefty speaker that pumps out music without sounding deep and distorted. Its not completely balanced and gets a tad bit onto the deeper end but its pretty close to balanced.

The volume is crisp, clear, and surprisingly powerful. Even at low levels it’s more than adequate for everyday listening. At roughly one quarter volume, it easily filled my living room. I wanted to do what I call a blast-test where I crank the speaker up to full. But as loud as the speaker was at one-quarter power, I didn’t want to risk a noise complaint from my neighbors. So I took my speaker to work with me and got there a few hours early so I could crank it up while the main floor was empty. And wow, did it deliver. At full power, the sound filled the entire floor with no distortion. Playing church organ music at full volume made me feel like I was actually standing next to a live organ. Bluetooth range was also strong. I walked about 60 feet away on an open floor with no signal loss. In another test, I left the speaker running in my car while I stepped into a 7 Eleven, and it stayed connected through both the closed car door and the store’s door. Battery performance has been promising. After about three hours of use at roughly 20–30% volume, the battery dropped only about 20%. I ran this test with the flashing light turned off, since, as I have found with other devices, lighting features can accelerate battery consumption, but early signs suggest it will easily last through any typical use case. One limitation is that the speaker doesn’t report its battery level to the connected device. Instead, it announces the level at startup in 10% increments. That makes precise tracking difficult, and some of the variation I’ve seen may simply be rounding. Even so, the overall battery performance has been strong. I haven’t yet tested the multi-speaker pairing feature, but given how powerful a single unit is, I would mainly use that for surround sound effects rather than volume. The build quality is excellent. The speaker has a smooth, solid design with a surprising amount of weight, giving it a durable feel. The attached handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold. Despite the minor inconvenience of not being able to monitor the battery more precisely, this speaker has impressed me across the board. It’s already shaping up to be one of the best Bluetooth speakers I’ve owned.

If you’re looking for a speaker that punches way above its weight class without emptying your wallet, the DBSono Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a genuine sleeper hit. While it might not have the name recognition of a JBL or Bose, it delivers a feature set that makes it one of the best value-per-dollar purchases in the current market. ### Why It Stands Out Small Size, Big Sound: For a device that weighs less than a pound and fits in the palm of your hand, the HD sound quality is surprisingly crisp. It manages to balance clear mids and highs with a "punchy" bass that doesn't muddy the audio—even when you crank the volume for an outdoor gathering. Battery Life was good: Used it for a backyard gathering for about 4 -5 hours and had plenty of juice left. Bluetooth: It took a little bit to connect but once it connected it stayed connected. Didn't lose connection like osme other cheapo brands out there. Features TWS Pairing: If you have two, double-press the MS/TWS button to link them. It supposedly transforms this into a better stereo system. I only have one so cant confirm but thought this was a pretty cool feature. To save on battery life, you canp ush to toggle the LED lights off. It’ll give you a few extra hours of pure audio. I didn't because I was testing the battery life. It's supposedly 30 hours without trying this trick, and for me that's plenty. But another nice feature. Overall, it's a keeper for sure. I'll admit I was skeptical. But my kids wanted it so I ordered it. To my surprise it really sounded great. Even better than my large name brand stereo (from 14 years ago ok!) And I love that red color. Looks legit! No regrets.

Totally digging this speaker. When I first opened it up, charged it, and connected my phone, I was shocked. For the size, it delivers a really nice, loud, bass-filled sound. I showed my father and father-in-law and they were shocked too, at the quality and sound for around $40. I’m happy to give this 5 stars. A few detailed observations: Size: I would consider this to be on the larger size. It’s not something I would want to carry while backpacking or a long hike. It’s better for camping, outdoor cookouts, a day at the beach, poolside, those kinds of outdoor activities. Sound quality: I already hinted at this, but the sound quality is great. And loud. At the top end of volume, the music still sounds pretty good. I’m not an audio expert, but this gets close in quality to my higher end Bluetooth speakers. The bass is especially noticeable with the bass boost function. I can see, at least for the music I listen to, just leaving this on all the time. Build quality: for $40, the build quality is much better than I expected. Feels solid. The body is sturdy. The fabric on the outside of the speaker feels nice. I have the red speaker - it’s a nice bold color. Extra functions: the ability to change LED color is fun, but don’t expect it to light up a dark room. The bass function is great. Volume buttons are easy to find and use—intuitive. The carry handle is a rope, double backed, with a piece of rubber at top. It’s nice to hold, and again, feels sturdy to carry. Battery life: I’ve had this running for about an hour on one charge without depleting the battery. I haven’t extensively tested the battery at varying audio levels, but so far, I’ve been happy with how the battery lasts. If I have battery issues I’ll be quick to update my listing. Overall, this is a real winner if you’re in the market for a portable Bluetooth speaker that really delivers volume and bass. Again, this isn’t small though. This is better for use around your home or community, like the pool, lake, beach, camping, road trips, etc.

This isn’t the first Dbsono Bluetooth speaker I’ve had the pleasure of trying, and I honestly hope it won’t be the last. My experiences with the brand have been consistently positive, and this one continues that trend. It sounds great, with the kind of volume and punch you want from a portable speaker. Plenty of output for indoor listening, backyard hangs, beach days, camping, or anywhere you want music without dragging around a full stereo setup. For a compact product, it puts out quality sound and feels like a well-rounded performer. Good balance of portability, power, and fun. If this is the level Dbsono keeps putting out, I’d gladly try more from them. Can go wrong with this one at its price point; solid value! Better than another more expensive brand that I already have. To be honest, I was not expecting how loud it is and the sound quality. If you’re looking for a loud, portable Bluetooth speaker for casual use, this one from dbsono is a pretty decent budget option. It’s the kind of speaker you’d bring to the beach, a small party, or a backyard hangout. It gets pretty loud For a portable speaker, the 60W power rating means it can fill a room or outdoor space with sound without struggling. It’s definitely loud enough for a small party or a group hanging out outside. Nice bass boost option The BassBoost feature adds extra punch to the low end, which is great if you listen to hip-hop, EDM, or anything bass-heavy. You can pair two speakers together With TWS (True Wireless Stereo), you can connect two speakers at once for stereo sound and more volume. That’s a nice bonus if you want a bigger sound setup. Good for outdoor use It’s designed to be portable and weather-resistant. Many models in this line also include IPX5 splash protection, so rain or pool splashes shouldn’t be a problem. Battery life is solid You can get up to about 24 hours of playback at lower volume levels, which is great for day trips or camping.
