When I hear the alternator singing louder than the stock alternator, I wanted to sing right a long with it. My truck is a 93 Chevy Cheyenne 4.3. Description says 220amps.... Lie!!!! This alternator sucks this is worse than the AC Delco that I started with! Add hot idle this alternator cannot even keep up... it can not even produce half the amps claims at hot idle. Your battery will drain and sitting at a stop sign for over 5 minutes your engine may even cut off! DO NOT BUY! ... show more

Bought a high output alternator read it at 220 A I got the spec sheet and it’s 121 amp alternator at max output at 2500 RPMs thing pushes out 93 A that is not a high output Alternator try to get a hold of the company and nothing and I have no choice to use it because my alternator went out

I put it on my truck and it only lasted about 2 weeks it probably only had about 30 miles on it had to buy a new one it left me stranded JUNK

    • Amperage is not quite as stated
Contacted seller out put amperage at idle as stated by seller does not match paperwork in box from testing from the manufacturer amperage listing is also lower alternator is working for the time being but is super noisy whining gets louder each time it kicks in charging.
