Check out this hack in the pics. 1. With safe open take door panel off (4 screws) and remove door by backing out top hinge pin screw, you will see it, (Phillips screwdriver required), gently remove door now. 2. Remove middle shelf then slowly and gently remove felt lining, 3. Now replace center shelf then measure and cut your wire mesh to fit, 4. Next mix small batch of high density concrete, 5. Flip safe on side you want to pour with concrete, pour roughly 3/4 - 1 inch, keep flat and shake to level, let dry, 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until finished, 7. Let dry for several days, 8. Reattach felt with any kind of adhesive spray or brush on glue, 9. Last put door in place, reattach hinge pin and screw, reattach door panel with the 4 screws. Done. Weighs 45 lbs. now. We needed something to keep passports and some important documents. This is well made, very sturdy and was easy to set up. It even comes with wall mounts and a emergency battery pack you can use to power it up when you forget to change the batteries.

Quality of safe was generally good. But a few poor things: 1) You provide the expandable sleeves for mounting, but DO NOT provide the drill size hole to accept them. 2) the battery compartment slots that hold the batteries are very tight and hard to get the batteries in 3) AND WORST OF ALl! Your instructions are so brief and the print is so tiny, you can hardly read them without a magnifying glass. Poorly done! ... show more
