Love the lights however when you put timers on the app, they never go on on the set time that you program. It’s very frustrating. I have them set to go on at 8:30 every night and off at 11:00 PM and they stay on constantly or they don’t even turn on at 8:30 very horrible app.

Just received this item, i purchased the 100ft (2 rolls of 50ft) to use them under my couch. They do feel a bit flimsy, but if you handle with care they work great. love that it’s able to be cut, very easy to install, and all lights work great. Colors are vibrant and bright. Cons: there is only one power adapter, so if you plan on using the two rolls in different areas, you will have to purchase a separate adapter. The white is a bright daylight white, and i have not yet figured out if there’s a way to make it a warm white Overall: would definitely buy again, great price and good quality ... show more

We bought these to string all over my nine-year-old son's closet, which previously had no lighting in it at all, in spite of the fact the it is of the walk-in variety. These lights are fairly bright, are attached to a very thin and flexible ribbon, and adhere well to the walls and shelves on which we hung them. They're also very easy to set up and work flawlessly with the Kasa Home app and with our Amazon Smart Speakers. We will definitely be purchasing more of these when we build my son's loft bed. We plan to line the bottom of the bed with them to light up the play and work area below. We're looking forward to the project, in part because these lights work so well. ... show more

I purchased these lights in December and by May they stopped working. Upon investigation, the power adapter is totally fried and smells burnt. This power adapter is NOT rated to handle 65.6ft of LED lights. It may have worked with one reel (32.8ft), but the addition of another reel far exceeds the power rating of this adapter. Second update 10-20-2022: Daybetter just sent a second set of lights and these seem to work as they should. Easy to setup Wi-Fi and light scenes now work. The scheduler works like a charm and is nice to automate. Daybetter seems to stand by its products and they seemed concerned that I was a happy camper and had resolved in 3 Days. Thanks Daybetter! Update 10-17-2022: DayBetter just got with me and are sending out a new set. I will update my experience with the new set after I get setup again. I was really impressed that DayBetter contacted so quickly, maybe I should have just emailed the seller but Amazon said item could not be returned. I was really excited to get these and try out. We just purchased a new home and now have a man cave to decorate. Setup was easy and the adhesion was good. The bad thing about these lights is that they have no way to add another roll easy without splicing with a kit sold separately, and they should have a 4 prong female plug on each side with a 2 sided male to connect and should come with a 6 foot white extension cord so dont have to run lit lights up corner of wall. It took one roll to go half way around room, then I purchased a link kit and the other roll lit up ok. For a couple days! After a week the red started looking like pink a foot from where power connected then they started turning different colors even though I selected red. When selecting blue I got green, Blue and yellow which was strange. Another week went by and now they dont work at all. maybe the set was a bad one, I dont know but sucks to only have working for 2 weeks for 30 bucks and 10 bucks for link kit. I was expecting more as they looked better than most light sets. Live and learn while companies get rich off of defective toys...! ... show more

    • Fragile and not sticky enough

I purchased these for my daughter for Xmas. While installing the ribbon is so thin that you have to be super careful not to kink, rip or tear it otherwise the rest of the lights will not work. I put these all around her bedroom attaching them directly to the painted walls. Immediately 3 of the LEDs were not working like the others. A day after installing them they started to fall off the wall. The adhesive feels tacky enough but won't stick to a painted wall. The integration into Alexa is nice. The remote should be RF at this point. They are 3 LED lights so you won't get a true white light. I would not recommend these but you get what you pay for! ... show more

They work pretty well. The lights are bright and vibrant, and the remote works fine. The adhesive could be better, it tends to fall off and I have to stick it back on. Some of the lights have died, resulting in different colors in certain areas.
