COB LED strip lights offer greater power efficiency than conventional SMD LEDs, and a brighter more even field of light. They are mounted on a heat sink that allows much greater heat dissipation, lessening the wear and tear on the diodes, and extending their lives. Nearly all COBs are fully dimmable. If you want an even, bright field of light with a 180 beam angle, this is the way to go.

 Note however that most COB strips are bare tape with the diodes attached, and are not intended to be used in a location where the source of the lighting diodes are visible. 

 This specific product is a 24v version. These diodes provide highly accurate color rendering, which means your eyes can “see” the colors being lit by the LED more accurately that cheaper LED strip lights.

 This product comes with an RF remote that allows you tom both dim and color time the white light from 2700K-6500K. There is also inline dimming functions. This product contains a whopping 608 LEDs/m, which is on the high end of the scale, so you won't have any problems with dark spots or lighting intensity. This product is equipped with 3M tape on the back of the LED strip, and is intended for a one-time installation.

 These are cuttable and fusible to create a shorter or longer run, or to turn corners. Power supply/ transformer are not included, so that will be additional costs.     • Such a Cool LED Light Strip!!

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this LED light strip from Daybetter, and - once again - they do not disappoint!! I am yet to install these lights because I want to pick the perfect spot, and I just cannot decide! I'm leaning toward putting them in the main part of my living room & redoing my trim so I can hide them. - I love how there are no dark spots with these lights. The LEDs are in this tube-like structure, so it looks like continuous lighting - Beautiful Colors!! There are so many different & very cool programmed lighting effects, but you can also program each section to do something different. As I pointed out in the video, you can see where these sections begin & end (there is also a super cool setting that makes it look like lightning is going off in the room, and it looks so awesome during a thunderstorm!) - Can be cut & reconnected. There are cut marks throughout the light strip, and it looks like these would take a 10mm connector. I have not cut mine or even searched for the correct connectors just yet, but I also talked about the spacing & location of the copper connectors in my video - Remote & App provided. You have access to both a remote control and an app that have worked flawlessly for me so far, and I have been playing with these lights a lot! - I cannot speak to their adhesion or longevity just yet, but I will update if I run into any issues. I noticed that the lights seem to get a little warm when running on full brightness (similar to all my LED light strips), so I try to keep them turned down to 50% or lower. They still provide plenty of light at that setting & you avoid any worries about overheating. This is my favorite strip of LEDs that I've had so far, and I think they will be a big hit when I host Thanksgiving this fall! ... show more

    • Great COB light strip

I used these to run under the railing of the stairs to my second floor. This allows indirect lighting on the steps, in an otherwise dark staircase. I have several more expensive strips and these are easily on par with those.

The media could not be loaded. This LED strip light far exceeds my expectation. It comes complete with the control and the power adapter so I don’t have to worry about mismatching the power. The color options and modes are truly impressive. The brightest intensity is almost blinding. The dimmest setting is soothing. Then the in-between color motions feels like a party light. The 32.8ft length is just enough to run the entire course of my staircase. It’s useful for keeping the dark area comfortably dim yet bright enough to light up the entire hallway area. Long desired some lighting for unlit basement access stairs but never saw something that seemed to fit the bill. Rolled the dice on these DAYBETTER COB LED lights and happy I did. Not my first experience with DAYBETTER - I had an older RGBW 5050 strip from 2015 or so that was great but also the cats completely shredded, but that's not important right now. The combination of a reasonable price, the radio (not IR) remote, the 16 foot length, and most importantly color temperature selectable was exactly what I wanted. They work fantastically. The remote has three 'scene' buttons to select full bright, medium, and a nighttime soft light mode. I leave them in the latter and running 24/7 and it's absolutely what I needed to light these stairs. One thing I wish - a longer lead between the controller/driver and the strip itself. But a plus on the controller - it has a built in touch sensor to turn it on and off. Bonus! If you're looking for a simple, dare I say classy, white illumination strip these should be high on your candidate list. ... show more
