What drew me to this makup brush set was the case/stand they are inside of. Its something I had never seen before and I thought in theory it was actually a good idea. When your doing looks you could end up with a bunch of brushes spread out over your vanity or space you do your makeup. With this you can just flip it into the stand and have it hold your brushes as you use them, then flip it closed when your done. The one thing that is negative is when I received this and tried to flip it into the stand the cord immediately fell out (the knots were not big enough and the cord came out on both ends). Luckily I had just barely enough cord to make the knots bigger on both ends by double knotting the cord. I also flipped the cord around when I did this so that the knots were on the inside instead of the outside. This makes it easier to adjust the stand that the case becomes. Otherwise that adjustment piece would be on the outside and inaccessible while in "stand mode". The case quality itself is ok and it is easy to clean. Its not the best quality but the velcro that holds the case shut is good, theres no bad stitching on the case and the elastic that holds each brush is really good and secure. You could fix this whole case in a medium sized purse and it would travel well. The brushes themselves are soft and I would say are equal quality to any ELF brush. The hairs are synthetic and they are dence. They pick up product well and you get so many in this set. The sponges are ok but then again your not getting this for those really. They don't rip easy but they are harder than my Real Techniques sponges I use, so I won't be using them. Overall the concept of this is good and I really like it.

This is a great makeup brush set with a foldable case that keeps all the brushes in place. I find that having each slot for brushes keep them more intact than stuffing them into a makeup bag. The brushes are soft but not super dense (although dense enough to do a decent job). I don’t generally like to take my nice brushes with me when I travel, but I probably wouldn’t mind with this case. The brushes in this set work just fine though and are nice enough to get the job done without worrying about accidentally ruining them.

I’ve always been the same way with my brushes like most girls, throw them in a bag. I even separate them in their own bag from my makeup products. It can be super annoying having to dig around in a bag for the right brush. I needed something that kept my brushes compacted and storable but organized too. Actual big plastic containers just wasn’t an easy thing to store or even grab and travel with when I needed to do things on the move. I finally saw this on social media and thought, this is perfect. Makeup artists use these kinds of things and for very good reason. It holds all your brushes in one condensed area and it’s super neat. I can’t believe that it even came with its own brushes and makeup sponges with it too. I was surprised to find a good kit like that. The brushes are great actually. I have a real love for my brushes but I figure if I’m getting a kit I might at as well get the best one and I’m glad I got this. The brush ends are soft and not overly absorbable, they distribute the makeup evenly and are easy to wash. They are just like your normal makeup brushes. They give you a lot! The sponges are basic too and I like that. My biggest thing is how easy it is to grab your bag and go though. I had finished my eyes and by the time I was done it was time to go. My husband was driving so I knew I could do my makeup in the car. It was so much easier to do than previous times. Before I had a makeup bag holding my brushes and again, searching for the right brush is not easy. I literally shuts rolled this out in my lap and I was good. Nothing rolled off, slipped off, or was hard to find. It was all neatly laid out in my lap at ease!

These are really nice brushes. They are incredibly soft and the synthetic bristles do not cause any allergic reactions. The density of the foundation and angled brushes is really nice because it isn't too dense like some Kabuki style brushes can be but they're dense enough to still provide a nice finish that isn't streaky. Some of the eye brushes are definitely Sigma dupes and they are really high quality. Soft and dense. I honestly love that the brow brush does not have a spoolie at the other end because they always get filthy and dirty in my makeup bag and I prefer to just have my spoolie be separate so this is perfect. Most of these brushes are also multi use and some of the eye brushes are definitely large enough to double as contour and highlighting brushes. I do wish they had labeled the brushes on the handles but since there are no rules in makeup, unless you just don't know what you're doing this shouldn't be a problem for most. I really love the brush case/stand. I plan to take out the brushes I won't use regularly and replace them with the brushes I already have in my arsenal that I do use regularly and stand it up next to my makeup case on my vanity for easy access. The sponges are on par with my beauty blender and the other highly rated drugstore brand I get at Ulta and there is a nice variety. This is a great set for the price especially if you're a newbie and don't want to splurge on high end brushes. It will get the job done and there us nothing missing that I can think of except maybe a fan brush which isn't necessary. Good set!

The quality of the brushes in this kit is really really great. All of the brushes are super soft. I like the density as well, nice and full without being hard. You get a full set here too, with 15 different brushes and 4 sponges. The foldable case is a really good idea too, although execution could be better as it is not super sturdy. But the idea is solid and a nice feature.
